Fantastic service, very professional! I needed a smog check later in the day, and they took me in and I was out of there in just about an hour. I really appreciate their willingness to just do a smog check on an out of state car!

I had a very positive experience. Came in with a check engine light. My car needed a new turbo to pass smog. I've done other work on my car myself but got a reasonable rate here for this repair. My plate was full with other projects. They got the work done faster than I expected and the price didn't exceed the original estimate, which I appreciate.
It's a small shop that does good work. They get busy, so it may be hard to get in. But once you're in, they take very good care of your car.
I would definitely come back here again.

HONEST, EXCELLENT SERVICE, GREAT COMMUNICATION. I got my front & rear break pads installed here, and they did an excellent job, I was completely satisfied. I also came back for another car job and that was to install some new spark plugs for me, in which they did another fantastic job making my car feel more newer, complete, and most importantly more safer. I live over 65+ miles away, CENTRAL AUTO SERVICE is the only car place I trust with my car and the only place I will have my car fixed on, from here on to the future. I went to Central Auto Service for an oil change and had a great experience. The staff were friendly, professional, and efficient. They finished the job quickly and checked everything to make sure my car was in good condition. The price was reasonable, and they didn’t try to upsell anything unnecessary. I definitely recommend Central Auto Service for quick and reliable oil changes!

I went in for a smog test. Unfortunately the test couldn’t be performed as I was informed that I needed a new clutch. I had no idea. $1,200+ the clutch was replaced and my car passed the smog. I am grateful for that and have made peace with the cost. They had my car for more than 2 days and got it right. I have to get used to the new clutch as my car is riding like a bronco with the new clutch. My fault♥️💙

My car won't start, luckily my car is in great hands, at central auto mechanic, best mechanic in the area. This is the mechanic shop that I call it home, because both Peter and sunny make me feel confident and comfortable in leaving my car to be serviced by them. I have been taking my car there for many years for service and repair. Thanks to both of them. I recommend this place to everyone.

Central Auto Repair is beyond incredible and very professional! Always very accommodating, I have been to 3 smog tests fail, 2 mechanics reject the CAP program , and Sonny of Central auto made my life sunnier and brighter. I was telling him to replace my cat conv but wants to do more tests (he said no problem with my catalytic) to my car 1995 BMW 3series. Sonny saved me a lot $ & his mechanics there always have a 😊 smile on their face. Sonny also charged me less than anybody, very reasonable. I highly recommend this place even if you live in SF or anywhere in the Bay Area it’s really well worth it.

It only took 20 minutes to get my smog check done here on a weekday afternoon. The crew were friendly and it was a very easy experience here to get a smog check done.
