The facility is kept clean. The office is rarely staffed. All transactions are done via electronic/online payments. Voicemails and emails are rarely responded to. Our current unit is an 5x8 that is being advertised on their active available inventory for $125.. We just received an rental increase for $240, we have been tenants for 2 years and 1 month. Our first year was paid in advance, the second year has been on autopay month to month, until the CC expired 6 months ago. We were surprised to find out how much to rental had increased in just 6 months time. Our fault for not paying attention and reviewing the emailed invoices each month. Needless to say, we are currently searching for a new storage solution and do not recommend Central Self Storage. The haphazard choice of increasing current rates based on advertised pricing is plain and simple price gouging.The one star is for technical reasons.. You can't leave a review without at least one star.

I had a small storage unit here for about 6 months during some renovations. Everyone I worked with was very polite and helpful. The facility is clean, easy to access and safe.

Management is pretty rude. I've been with them a year now and today makes the third time I've needed customer service and it's always a hassle. Shocks me bc when I call the phone number the representative are always so pleasant but when management finally reaches back out (ignored three of my emails then responded after I called) they're so dismissive and rude. I just gave birth so once I'm back to normal I'll be moving to a new storage.

Rented a U-Haul truck and soon after got caught in heavy rain with no windshield wipers! I would think that after so many years in business, U-Haul would have instituted a simple check-list to perform before allowing equipment to be rented. The manager at Central Storage acted like she couldn't have cared less that I had to deal with a potentially dangerous situation.

The person called Sam who manages this location is the most heartless person I have ever spoken to who prioritizes taking 160 dollars from someone, rather than taking responsibility for poor management of this location.I ordered a Uhaul, and no one ever showed up to give me the keys. I reschedule next day I can and grab almost everything out, but leave two boxes for a final day. Unfortunately I have come down with covid and I wont be able to pickup my boxes. I cannot afford this additional fee, but I also cannot get these boxes.Sams response was, “Well, that is your choice.”Her offer, an extension of two days that still is not enough for me to clear covid. I asked if she could even just throw the boxes in the closet. Or perhaps the 3 units that have been empty the entire 8 months I have been renting space here.

I will never do business with this company again. No one shows up on schedule, answers the phone, or returns messages. VERY unreliable.

great customer service! I was able to stop for boxes and tape and I got a cheap unit cheaper than what I usually pay and it was quick! I was in a tight squeeze, thanks Sam! appreciate all your help!

I only gave the second star because it seems fairly secure. In the 18 months I was there the price tripled. Almost $200/mo for about 3×6, ffs.Someone is always breaking the gates and the tenants pay for the damage.Every. Single. Time.Charge your insurance not your tenants.The units are tiny and have odd poles making it very difficult to store your belongings.Use a different place!Edit: start a different review page for Samantha. She's on a different level and needs to CEO something with higher earning potential.

I was moving not too long ago. The times I came in to get the things I needed, Francine at the front desk helped me. She was very cordial and made the process quick and easy. I was in and I was out, would recommend this place if you need moving supplies.

Samantha is FANTASIC! Samantha is 10 stars. However, the assistant manager is really rude, treats people disrespectfully and is condescending. She cancelled my complementary truck for my planned move in and then told me that I didn't have a reservation, I must have called another center to reserve it and claimed that I never left two voice mails to confirm because she checked the machine when she got there and there were no messages. I explained that I did not call to make the reservation, I was in the office and made the reservation with Samantha IN-PERSON! Instead of apologizing, she told me the same thing AGAIN! She continued to say I must have called another center. This in spite of the fact that I explained over and over that I made the reservation IN-PERSON. I left angry and frustrated. Since she had told me that I must have the wrong phone number, I called again. Guess who answered the phone.I feel that she canceled my reservation because it was "complementary", erased the two messages I left, lied to me me about the above and tried to make me feel stupid by saying over and over again that I must have called the wrong U-Haul center.We moved to another storage facility where they understand customer service and are nice people. The assistant manager deserves to be unemployed!

the staff is often rude, the gates are frequently broken, the lighting is terrible, I can't update my information online, and I could excuse all that but I'm paying almost $100 a month for a storage unit and not only is it full of bugs, spiders, an incredible amount of dust, I've just discovered that several of my boxes and items inside them are water damaged and growing mold, I can't wait to get my stuff out of here for good and never store here again
