Classic old school Italian Deli owned by the same family for many decades. Great friendly service. Delicious fresh custom made sandwiches. My favorites: the Italian beef. Also the mortadella with hot coppa on sourdough sliced w/red onions & giadineria Don't forget dessert. Order a cannoli.

Love the hot lamb sandwich. Very basic and full of flavor. Don't think you could go wrong with anything you ordered from here. Very friendly place.

Simply put: this is a top tier deli, of the old school variety. They are quick, fresh and you can get exactly what you want. A little pricy but well with it, IMHO.Go, don't think. Get several and enjoy!

Great service. Ingredients were fresh and together made an amazing sandwich. I ordered a Cajun Turkey and then went to Togos where I ordered a similar turkey sandwich so I could enjoy both and see how they compared.Domenico’s was superior.Domenico’s was just better flavored and the ingredients just synchronized more. The bread was distinct in that it is not as thick of bread as you find at Togos or Subway, so you taste less bread and more fresh ingredients. I think I found a new sandwich joint. Thanks Domenico’s!

Sandwiches, potato/pasta salads, and cannoli are all delicious. Hot coppa and Italian beef are favorites. Service is friendly and no-nonsense. Check out the wall of chips. Decor and ambiance really feels like a Philly or Jersey-style Italian deli, in the best way. Helpful to call ahead during peak times, since there isn’t much room to wait inside (plenty of room outside on the sidewalk, though). A neighborhood favorite.

When driving up the street you can easily pass by this spot and you will b sad that ya did. Another one of those mom and pop hole in the walls that we love to make a home out of. Kind greeting and fast service, you can feel the family vibe as soon as you enter the door.I got the crab salad on a soft roll with everything except pepperoncinis. The crab salad taste fresh and I like the slight crunch from the celery. The only thing I will do different and it was my fault not to have asked that the sandwich be heated. Wasn’t needed just a preference of mine. Over all Domenicos is a hidden gem that you must visit in alameda.

When to Domenico's on 02/27/2024 the place is racist towards people of color.

Holy moly. This place is a true gem! Get the peppered turkey with everything, you won’t regret it. 5/5, one of the best sandwich shops in the bay.Parking: Parking is super easy. If there isn’t a spot directly in front, just turn the corner. You’ll never be more than a block away.Wheelchair accessibility: Street level with no steps to enter. Wide ordering lane and very wheelchair accessible.

I am a Domenico’s loyalist. It’s my favorite sandwich on the island, and the family who owns and operates the establishment are wonderful. I am a huge fan of their horseradish sauce on my fave avocado and cheese sandwich. I also like to take out-of-towners to Domenico’s to try out their favorite sandwich Domenico’s style and have only ever had my friends pleased with their experience.I had a pretty rough day today, and Domenico’s for dinner was like a balm for the soul. Don’t miss out on this spot if you get the chance! :)Vegetarian options: They have tons of sandwiches and sandwich variations for your veggie pals to choose from. My usual sandwich has no meat for example.Parking: Close to the corner of Webster and central. Just drive around the block until something opens up.
