This is such a wonderful plant store! I was excited to find it so close to my house when I moved here and even more excited after interacting with the employees and receiving such helpful support with my plant shopping and plant care. Even when I don’t really think I want another plan right now I love going to Encinal just to look around at all the beautiful plants and pots.

In my youth my garden class came to encinal nursery came to buy plants seeds and other gardening supplies one year we bought pumpkin seeds and the pumpkin that grew was huge

I want to give a big shout out to Yani ! The minute she saw my son and I she asked if we needed help. And yes we did! She was so knowledgeable and even helped drill a hole into a pot that we chose. I wish more businesses had employees like her, eager to help, happy go lucky attitude and just an absolute gem to have an employee ❤️

I wanted to thank Yani because she was very helpful and for her bright and cheery disposition!! We amateur gardeners want to be helped by nice people who encourage us and help educate us to make gardening less daunting. She is a wonderful young lady and I'm going back to pick up another lavender and hope she is there because she has great energy!!

They have a huge array of stuff packed into their little allotment and the plants actually look healthy and weather transplanting well once home. Quite expensive I have to say, but you get what you pay for in terms of quality.

their staff is super helpful and the variety of plants is amazing. they're constantly getting new inventory. it's a little pricey but great selection.

I love this place. Almost everything is in very good shape. There are lots of indoors and outdoors varieties. Overall, this is just a very nice place to explore.
