I have tried to submit the same type of sample at this site twice per my doctors orders over the last 2 weeks. I followed the exact instructions they gave me over the phone for submission, after specifically calling to make sure they would process the sample correctly, and both times my results were not run because the sample was marked "not performed due to age of the specimen". The people here either dont know what they're doing, or just enjoy lying to people trying to follow thier doctors orders. Either way I plan to file a complaint with the parent company, although I doubt they’ll do much about it.

Hard to find parking but there's street meter parking. It's a small LabCorp spot hidden between some businesses in a small building. The location is clean, sanitary, all staff wore masks. Sign in through the iPad system then check in with receptionist. The nurse was extremely gentle and warm when she drew my blood panel. I got scared bc I hate blood panels, she made me feel very comfortable and saw that I looked discomfort from the needle. She reco next time to get a smaller needle for my small veils lol. Honestly that's the best advice I've gotten from nurses. I would totally return for my bloodwork done there.

Had both good and bad experiences when taking my son for a blood drawn. It is much more friendly to walkins than QuestUnfortunately there is a sign on their door saying they are closing this location due to leak issues caused by the heavy rain. Hopefully they will open a new location in the island.

I used Lab Core in Alameda and I was in and out within about 20 minutes. The staff is skilled in what they do. Nothing is more dissappointing at a lab than having the phlebotomist miss your vein - repeatedly. These folks are experts.

I come here whenever my doctor needs some routine blood tests. Staff is friendly and I've never had any issues with this place. I don't bother making appointments since they allow walk ins. I'm a morning person and they usually open at 7am so I will show up around this time. There's hardly anyone inside this early and I think the longest I was in there for was 30 minutes. I think there's only 1 customer parking spot in the front but you're better off finding street parking. Don't forget to bring your ID and insurance card.

This is the most incompetent group of employees I’ve had to deal with. They don’t answer their phone or return messages left. I was trying to get labs done for a procedure to be done in San Diego a week later. Did the labs and was assured they would be sent the following day. I traveled to San Diego 4 days later and just learned that labcorp never sent them to Scripps so I have to cancel the appointment I’ve been waiting 6 months for. What a huge disappointment.

Arrived on a Thursday afternoon, was surprised to see a sign on then door stating closing time of 3:30 (seems quite early). However, the door was already locked at my 3:17pm arrival time. I knocked, an employee answered and said “we’re closing early, we need to stop allowing any more customers to enter so that we can leave by 4:00!”Apparently even observing their own (limited) posted hours is too much customer service for them to handle.

I walked in on Saturday morning for a test. The place was really busy and people who worked there were working very hard. My phlebotomist was Shyla. Even though it was so hectic she did not lose her sense of humor and kindness. Great place to get your labs done.

Outrageous wait times. You could be waiting here for an hour to 2 hours. Highly recommend making an appointment. In fact, would not even bother to come here if you don't have an appointment. Check in is fast. Wait times are very long.

Labcorp Alameda closes when it rains due to location which floods easily. I went on Fri it was closed and thy did not post a warning that if it rains they will close so I went on Mon and it was closed. I am over 80, take the bus, saving my need to urinate because I need to provide a urine sample. I think this company is not a reliable healthcare provider. I have to cancel mr Dr appt because we won't have lab results. CA state people are you listening?

Horrible front desk. HORRIBLE. She overheard me saying the receptionist is very rude. She said "I'M NOT A RECEPTIONIST" Then got up and proceeded to try to draw my blood unsuccessfully. How embarrassing for her. Watch out - she's heavyset, brunette and miserable

It's a shame there isn't a negative star rating. Some HEARTLESS, lazy, incompetent, and callous woman, slammed the door and refused to perform necessary, doctor's ordered laboratory blood work, for my 98 year old mother, who was accompanied by a hired escort. Why? Mom and escort were delayed at the doctor's office, and came to the door of LabCorps in Alameda at EXACTLY 3:30PM.The female worker simply REFUSED to open the door, stating, "We're closed. I can't help you."What time do they close? 3:30PM.Had I been there, I'd likely be in jail. It is LIFE CRITICAL bloodwork, for a 98 year old, former WWII Rosie The Riveter on the Midway. Nice treatment for the last few survivors of THE GREATEST GENERATION, who are THE reason America wasn't enslaved by the evils of the Axis Powers. This is SUPPOSED to be a facility involved in critical medical procedures-not a shoe store. They have a phone that NEVER has a live person answer-at ANY TIME DURING BUSINESS HOURS, but invites you to "visit their website". The outgoing message states how they pride themselves on "Customer Care".I'd eat barbwire before I EVER trusted this disgrace of a sham, posing as a medical service again.

Before I went there this morning I looked at the reviews to see if they told you how to get in cuz I wasn't sure. All the reviews I saw said that the front desk people were rude and mean and nasty. Why didn't check the dates of when those reviews were put online but my experience was great everyone was polite and nice everything went smoothly and there were no problems go get them LabCorp.

We just completed a lab draw here for my 1st grader. The phlebotomists were professional and personable despite my child being anxious. They helped to calm her fears and redirect her attention. They did such a great job, she walked out with a smile.
