My sister and I were very pleased with the entire experience shopping Lynn's recent estate sale in Oakland. All the workers were very friendly and helpful. As the contents ranged from antique to new, it was clear that all items were priced appropriately. It was evident by their displays that they put a lot of care into arranging like items together. I will definitely be on the lookout for their future sales.

Unfriendly staff. Would not recommend to visit. There are lots of better places on the island with nicer folks and more reasonable prices.

$1 for a mask to enter. Short sighted business strategy to make money off masks and lose bigger sales. Unfriendly staff to boot. Avoid

Highly priced estate sales and not particularly warm staff members. $10 minimum for credit cards. Their estate sales are a skip.

We attended a Lynn's of Alameda estate sale recently and the prices were ridiculously high. We were at the front of the line and ended up leaving with nothing. Keep that in mind if you're looking for a deal. We won't be wasting our time shopping with them again.

I was looking for a super rare piece of cut glass and bohemian moser glasses. I had visited several stores in Alameda and Niles and this store was the only place that had what I was looking for. While I had so much to choose from I kept getting distracted by all the wonderful treasures this store has to offer. I ended up buying antique keys and some absolutely fabulous vintage rings and earrings. I will be coming back, that's for sure. The ladies who helped me were so kind and helpful. The dogs were fun and cute. I love shops that have resident pets, it makes the place feel relaxed. They ladies helped me sign up on a mailing list for all their really cool estate sales. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone searching out hard to find unique antique items. They said they would call me if they ever came across a particular toy I'm looking for. That's real service!

I've walked past this adorable shop at least a dozen times and finally had a chance to take a peek inside. What a gem of a store! I was greeted by a sweet dog whom I came to know as Miss Lucy, sunning herself on a chair in the window. As I had my own dog Riley with me, we stopped for a quick 'sniff and tail wag' before proceeding into the store. I like supporting local businesses so I just know I'll be back to find more treasures. Bonus - Lynn's is just around the corner from Encinal Market so I was able to pick up some goodies for dinner on the way :)

Customer service 0...Not a very friendly place here even the dog didn't seem safe to keep inside it seemed vicious though she did have a small fence to keep it away from us and I've been to a lot of antique stores... two ladies worked there that day but the moment we walked in we were not greeted or asked if we needed any help or even acknowledged at all but we continued to look around the photos and products we saw on Yelp are outdated and was unlike what we saw in person it was very small not a lot to look at so we walked out maybe they thought we didn't have money or because we were Asian who knows just the bad vibes here we're enough to walk out .. and we went over to good better best which is just across the street, we bought a lot of things there and they have way better antiques at reasonable prices and it's a way better vibe there trust me!

Yes. I would pay close attention to anything you buy.I just left a estate sale after purchasing $ 150 worth of items. I get them back home to take a closer look.I bought two butterfly scones that i thought were antiques hand made from italy. Paid 20$ a piece only to find after.removing the blue tape that they were a sale item from ross. I could have got the pair for 10$Very bad way to mix these items in with other antiques and then charge.triple the price.Karma will.find you..

My sister and I needed someone to manage my mother's estate sale. Lynn's was recommended by a few friends so we decided to use their services. We were very impressed with their professionalism and ability to handle the entire process. What was particularly nice was their policy of arranging for the disposal/donation of any items that didn't sell. We would use them again with no reservations.

I have cruzed through Lynns a few times over the years and have made as many purchases. You really must appreciate a consistently well stocked & organized & eclectic antique store, staffed by knowledgeable professionals, who remain open to reasonable offers to their posted prices. Are you weary of boring, so called, "antique stores"? prepare to be amazed by Lynn's.
