4th time here. Came from Palo Alto to celebrate a belated Chinese New Year with my wife's family. Two banquet tables for 18 people. My wife's aunt pre-ordered our favorite dim sum dishes and they were all really good. Nice portions and the chicken feet were outstanding. One of my favorites and I'm one of the white guys in the family. Large, plump, tender and the sauce was perfect. Some of the best I've had. All the dishes were good. I understand the dinners are just as good. You just can't go wrong here.

I tried a lot if dim sum places in the bay area, but Pacific lighthouse is outstanding. Dim sum is bigger and taste is amazing. Very friendly atmosphere. Also important to notice, this place has good air inside, whereas most of oriental restaurants has that musty smell. I highly recommend to try it. By the way, dimsum here is bigger than in SF places, also price is lower.

We did not eat anything.Dietary restrictions: The is restaurant does not do gluten-free. The wait staff did not understand the meaning of gluten free, even when translated to their language. They recommended several dishes that had “just a little bit of gluten.” Maybe the food is good, but it would not have worked for me.

Love their Dim Sum and loved eating on the water right next to the estuary! Really loved their dim sum order menu. It shows a photo and name of each dim sum you can order! First time I’ve known the names of what I ordered!

This was our first time here for dinner service on Chinese New Year Eve. It was quite an uncomfortable experience. I wonder if it’s because my family and I are not native Mandarin or Cantonese speaking. My party of 6 adults and 1 baby were not greeted upon entering the restaurant, so we decided to take a seat at an unreserved window table. Upon seeing us after we were clearly settled in, we were asked to move to an undesirable table although we were one of only 3 parties in the entire establishment. Thankfully we did not have to.After the host and servers finally realized we were here for dinner, we only received the banquet menu ($600+, 10 course set meal per table), which is obviously way too much food for our party. We had to ask two different employees before we were able to get a standard dinner menu. After ordering, the meal service went smoothly enough. The servers and host assigned to our table were kind enough.Unfortunately we ended on a sour note as the cashier visibly threw her head back and rolled her eyes as we asked for an itemized receipt for our dinner (isn’t this standard?).Pros: standard banquet hall style food, lots of seating, easy parkingCons: some employees’ attitudes can really dampen what was supposed to be a good time, which IMO is more important than the food on certain occasions.

Should never have carpet in a restaurant, desperately needs to be removed- it's beyond cleaning. You order by filling in an order menu sheet yourself. Somehow they managed to miss about 4 dishes we picked (all small plates). So we got about 75% of what we ordered. Turned out it was enough food anyways, so we didn't bother to say anything and just made sure we were only charged for what we got.

Overall prices and qualities of the dim sum are acceptable. The best rate dim sum is Deep Fried Shrimp dumplings (actually bean curd wrapper). Avoid any steamed buns except the Black egg yolk buns which is the best of the best among the steamed dim sum.Parking: Many parking spaces.Kid-friendliness: Kids can see the boats as the restaurant is located at the boat yard.

Good food with decent taste and decent selection, and a great location by the marina. Good for taking a walk after eating.

We took our kids here for the first time to try their dim sum. Overall, they liked it. But my daughter likes the other place we take her a little more.

Hidden gem tucked away in the middle of Alameda. Food is really tasty and lots of variety, portions are generous, prices are reasonable. Nice views, big place, and generous room between tables. Reservations usually not necessary unless it's a very large group. Service is quick and efficient. So glad to have it nearby!Note there are very few carts and they don't have people running around the tables like other dim sum places; instead you order from a menu. They don't make this very clear so I dinged one star for not making it a little easier for newbies to understand how their system works, but once you learn, you're golden.
