“A big, clean, well organized Safeway in Alameda!!The prices in Safeway have gone up, so download the App for the best deals, the just for you savings are good. In this store, I have always found what I'm looking for rather easily. Also, the fruit in this store seems to be a little fresher than other stores, in my opinion. Or maybe I just come once they have restocked.Located in the Alameda South Shore Shopping Center, there's plenty of parking here, and they also have the Safeway gas station available. One of the few Safeways I actually like shopping in!!”
“Date visited: 11/16/2023The beverage, milk & dairy refrigerators are out of service. All dairy has been removed but they are still offering warm kombucha (Kevita) for sale. This perishable item is still on display inside the refrigerator space and not being held at a safe temperature for consumption.With that, I am still giving 4 stars because of the extremely efficient service at the Pharmacy.”
“5 stars for Jaymar at the pharmacy counter. I've had less than acceptable service at this same pharmacy from a female who I won't name (8 days ago). She wasted my time, gas money to come back, and sent me on an unnecessary wild goose chase. Returned this evening, and Jaymar said he thought he could handle it right there, and...get this...he did. I recommend you call before you come and make sure Jaymar is on duty. He's professional, warm, and actually cares about people.”

“LOVE this pharmacy. The staff is knowledgeable as well as courteous. Always willing to help resolve any problems. Plus the delivery service is excellent. I no longer need to stress about how to get my meds. And yes, the gentleman who delivers does not speak English. So what? He understands English quite well and is always willing to throw my meds over my fence if I’m not available. Plus he’s a nice guy, even if a little shy.”
