They lied about attempting to contact me during the week to address a local store requirement they could have waived. I looked and told them I have no record of that. I asked what day they attempted to contact me, they had no answer.
They refused to give me a name when I asked who to report.

I love this Safeway. It's always clean and well stocked. I really like the deli here. Unfortunately the line can be long and slow during lunch hours.

I pretty much love this Safeway! It is always well stocked and they have very friendly staff! Plus the parking lot is Farley big so there's always parking! Starbucks location inside of this store that's never bush and also has very friendly staff! Favorite Safeway hands down!

Nice, bigger sized Safeway located near College of Alameda and Webster Tunnel. The service here is trying. I figure because it's a busy store, the employees have a challenging time providing service with a smile. I saw that they had only two main registers open with long lines of customers waiting to check out. I opted for the self checkout, which was convenient!

First time doing it all on line. Made it so much easier. However when I showed up to get my stuff it became super confusing. There isn't anyway to contact them to let them know your there and there isn't any online order pick up parking. It all kinda broke down and took me like an hour to get my stuff. Hope they get better at that. Otherwise I love the concept it was great for social distancing and no wobbly carts. Thank you Safeway

Stopped here to pick up some groceries and fruits while I was at Alameda. It's one of the biggest Safeway store. Very spacious and well arranged. Sunday morning and it was packed. I think I was the only one wearing a mask that day other than the employees. Their customer service is really good. Staffs greets you whenever they pass by and help you out with any questions. Had some hard time figuring out some of the aisles and the gentleman who was arranging the items guided me to the correct aisle. Plenty of checkout counters. But I used the self checkout option. Fast and convenient. Hassle free. It's part of a big complex, plenty of parking, but tough to find one close by!

The pharmacist Tina was rude, belittling and unsympathetic towards customers. Upon trying to use a RX coupon she automatically told me it wouldn’t work and wouldn’t even attempt to try it before asking her directly to please try it for me. After I called the coupon company they were able to contact Safeway and only then did it work. When I came to pick it up she rudely asked if the new price was low enough for me to pay for. Tina also declined to provide counseling on the new medication without asking me (she automatically selected it in their system and never cared to even present me with the option). She couldn’t care less whether you actually receive your medicine or are instructed how to use it. The experience was awful to say the least and very disconcerting since it involves medical issues. I will be filing a formal complaint against their pharmacist.
