Best pharmacy experience anywhere ever. I’ve lived all over the US used all sorts of pharmacies. This one is by far the best. Almost everyone here is overly kind, compassionate and courteous. Love it!

Hands down the best pharmacy experience I've had in my life. I never have an issue getting my medication the people working here are some of the nicest people I've encountered anywhere. I've started a new medication and the pharmacist took the time to have a good chat with me about it. They go above and beyond here. I've lived in five states and been through every pharmacy you can think of. This place is a delight.

This rating is purely to the front desk lady at the pharmacy inside this Safeway location working on 11/30/22. Today I walked in to the pharmacy for a vaccination appointment. The lady was clearly frustrated when I forgot my vaccination card at home. I told her I can come back with the card if that's an issue. She then found my information and yells what shots am I getting. I told her vaccination booster shot then she cuts me off and asked " what about the flu shot?" At that point, I had no idea that my dear husband had booked me a booster shot AND a flu shot appointment. Going into this Safeway, I had no idea about the flu shot so I paused and think quickly if I wanted to do both. At that point she yells again towards the computer screen saying " IS THIS YOUR HUSBAND's appointment or YOUR'S? You don't even know what you are getting? IIS YOUR HUSBAND GETTING THE SHOT OR YOU?!" I can't help but to wonder how can a person with zero professionalism be working at a pharmacy... I'm sure there are people out there that has their spouse or family member to book you appointments when you are honestly too busy with childcare at home, am I right? I strongly ask management to look into the type of person they are hiring and that the message these people are sending to their local shoppers. ** Hostile and unprofessional toward customers **

They sent message saying that your prescription is ready for pickup...but pharmacy is out of lunch for more than an hour ? We cannot give it to you....regardless patient is in severe pain. Please wait till they get back ? When ..? What is a service ?

This is a great, caring and highly professional pharmacy. Both Brian and Augustin are caring and knowledgeable pharmacists. I have never had a less than excellent experience there.

I've been going here for groceries for the last 19 years. They have a friendly staff, decent selection and they even have propane (although with COVID-19, haven't had it in stock long enough for me to get any in the last month).

Ruby is anal about the safeway bags. She stands behind us, watching to see how many bags we enter, vs. how many bags we used. If you enter the wrong count, due to a bad guess when answering the question while the groceries are spread out all over the table, she will make sure everyone within earshot hears about it. She figures if she embarasses you, you will make a better educated guess next time. No she is not new. I have been shopping there for 20 years, she has always been on the mean side. A very unpleasant person, just not nice. Usually one must go into a combat zone in a foreign country to meet someone of this nature, and stature. She was Sean's problem, now she is your problem Brad. I do not blame Sean for taking off to the East Coast. Mass. is nice this time of year.

Review for Bakery Last year, the Bakery in this store did not have a cake decorator. So I stopped by a few weeks ago inquiring if I can place a custom order cake, one of the Staff Members behind the bakery says they do now. I was really impress how everyone behind the bakery was wearing a mask except for the one Staff in the back. She was the one that approached me telling me about the cake service, but by the time she came out and spoke to me she did put on a mask. One week later, I stopped by and spoke with Jenn and she assisted me in the custom order cake. I ordered a white cake with strawberries and bananas along with whipped cream frosting. The cake was ready by 10am as I requested. Everyone loved the cake at the party! I know there are mixed reviews about customer service with the Bakery but this is a positive for me. I don't have to go to South Shore anymore for cake orders. I think with Safeway cakes, you do get more for the $$ especially if you are feeding kids that can't really tell the difference between a $100 cake or $29.99 cake. I got comments from the adults too! I will definitely order again. I actually ordered the same Safeway cake for my daughter's birthday last year (South Shore location) and the adults loved it too! If you don't like their American butter cream frosting, I suggest creating a custom order with whipped cream frosting. I will definitely order form the Bakery again.

At least one billing discrepancy every time I check out. Either prices are not updated or the Safeway Application - Sales, Just for You, Free Items, etc.. don't match the application, or the tags on the shelves don't match the system. Free items on the application are seldom stocked on the shelves. Workers are nice and helpful and will correct the charges but you need to know what you buy.Example: Chobani 4 Pack Yogurt was supposed to be $2.99 per the "Just for you" tag on the shelf, was charged $3.99 each and I bought two. Thus, I watched it and told the cashier and she had to manually take off $2.00 since the bar code would not scan and the item was not in the "just for you section" of the app. The single $.88 Chobani was in the app but not the multi-pack.Check your prices on the receipt. This would have been $18 on a $16 total. Darn.

I'm not sure why this store isn't rated higher. The deli department was extremely helpful and pointed out upcoming sales on their lunch meats. In addition, Celeste was outstanding and provided help with downloading the Safeway app and understanding it's various uses. If she is not already a manager, the store leadership should have her well on that track.
