Great company, and the best price in town. They always have what I need, and super fast shipping. My go to, for marine wiring parts and pieces.

The guy behind the counter was very abrasive. I personally would avoid going back. I'd rather just buy online and have it delivered.

Swenson's had my sailboat 3 months to prep it for shipping. They broke a steaming light; lost a VHF and ham antenna and cut the VHF and AIS coax cables. They agreed to pay me for the materials. The CopperCoat bottom paint was another matter. They claimed they burnished the surfaces: Absolutely Not. The surfaces had a lacquered sheen. I spoke to CopperCoat in Florida . They asked for up close photos. They said it needed to be sanded with 220 grit paper. I did this and some areas sloughed off. The barrier coat was sprayed on lumpy and it dripped and hardened raised in areas. . The CopperCoat was put on unevenly. Most areas with great effort I got to look like the photos CopperCoat sent me. Other patches sloughed off. I am in the process of having to repaint those multiple areas. It will require 2 kits of CopperCoate pad. . I asked for reimbursement for the materials and not my 3 weeks of prep work due to their shoddy job. They blamed me for sanding too hard. That I should have used a scotch brite pad. I DID and it still sloughed off in certain patches. Others were as hard as rock. Take responsibility for your errors and don't reflect mistakes onto the customers. It's victimizing the victim.

I don't own a boat but I am a metal fabricator and need industrial coatings. I've found Barry is the most knowledgeable staff there regarding painting and the products needed to get your specific project done right. He has years of experience in the field. Everyone else who works there was friendly and helpful as well. Also, there's a vast inventory of products on site!Call them anytime and a HUMAN ANSWERS!! YEAY!

Great for marine parts but it's also just a great hardware shop. Great stainless steel hardware selection. Nice staff.

Decent product selection but terrible staff, most of the staff at the front counter aren’t knowledgeable and don’t know what they are talking about. Receptionist always answers with a monotone voice and sounds kinda rude as if I’m inconveniencing her by calling.

A great chandlery; they have an amazing variety of inventory on site. I have mostly bought marine grade electrical components there. I like the fact that they have a large inventory of ANCOR marine grade wire in all of the ABYC recommended colors, and there is no minimum length -- if you need 5" of 4 gauge 105C marine grade tinned wire, then no problem! They also have a large inventory of Blue Sea Systems and Victron Energy electrical components. I have also bought a lot of stainless steel hardware from them -- they stock bolts and screws in both SAE and metric.

This place is amazing! Catering to boat owners, it has a great selection of hardware and paints & sealants. Unfortunate location as they could blow Home Depot out of the water ( pun intended).

Yes, they have a huge inventory and delivery is fast and precise, yes, they have a huge building and the knowledge of almost everything on marine trade... yes, prices are high and should be your last resort. I use this store just when I need something right now. For the rest, online store has always better prices and selection.
