“A good LGS with friendly staff and scheduled events. Decent stock in store though I'm sure they can get stuff delivered to the store.
They just moved down the block to a larger site with more gaming space. Give it a try!”
“This store was the absolute best and had more than I can imagine. The lady was so nice and helpful. The store had anything and everything. I left with $70 worth of stuff and left more than satisfied. Overall great store and I highly recommend.”
“I often pop in here to get second hand clothes or shoes for my kids. Recently it was my son's 4th birthday and we were all home sick. He had been asking everyday for over a month if his birthday was tomorrow and if he could please have a spider stuffie. He was so sad to miss his birthday at school and I had had no time to buy him a present because we had back ti back illnesses for a month. I called Kelly's corner, they had one and asked if I could pay over the phone and have her toss it out the door to me so as not to infect anyone .she was so sweet and offered to drive the gift to my house (we lived nearby)after work. She even wrapped it in a gift bag and added a few trinkets. It made his day and meant so much to me. Thank you!”
“Great toy shop with excellent customer service and a huge selection of toys and books. All price ranges of toys, from infant to grown up there's a toy for everyone here.”
“This place is amazing! I’ve impressed everyone I know who has had a baby with the outfits I’ve bought from here. The used section has really unique gems at good prices.”

“If you have a small grandchild and have not yet visited Dimples, you have a great treat in store. The story is visually the proverbial candy store, something good everywhere you look.In the three seasons since I discovered Dimples and became addicted, the owner/buyer, Tatiana, has not made a false move. Everything is not only adorable but completely wearable. Fabrics are soft; brands are specialty but affordable. There is lots of selection and a few perfect toys to round out birthday giving. There are also a few mom gifts; check out the earrings for yourself.I always wonder about incredibly positive reviews, so I assure you I did not know the owner until I wandered in the first time. I only have so many pictures [from two different visits] since I send then to my daughter to vet my choices. I only have little boys to buy for so the pictures may not amaze you. If you have a daughter or granddaughter....!”
“Very cool toy store. Great mix/range of toys. From silly/fun/lower engagement to developmental/higher engaging. Kind staff. Included complimentary gift wrapping with purchase of toys. They also will wrap toys/gifts from elsewhere for a nominal charge. Very nice wrapping with string bow. Cool store to just explore as well! Seems like they are engaged with the community, and sponsor a youth sports team. Kid friendly with supervision, and leashed dog friendly.”
“I LOVE THIS LOCATION!! I have been going here the past 10 years and always have an amazing time. This time I went I was beyond pleased and grateful.
This year is the first year they have walls in the back portion of the store that are setup as examples of how you could do your boards!!! I loved this as a veteran teacher and for my brother who is new. The visuals were great to see other possibilities on how you can set your space up. I believe the young woman who did the boards was named Devany (sorry if I spelled it wrong).
If you want the board as is or mixed around, somebody will pull all the supplies for you and laminate anything you need.
We were offered water multiple times or checked on throughout our time.
Highly highly HIGHLY recommend this location.”
“This place is wonderful!! It’s my go to for a great present for a baby. I love that they have both new and used stuff, and the sale rack is legit. The people who work there are kind and helpful. It’s so cool that you can sell your high quality baby clothes if you don’t have anyone on the hand me down train. Highly recommended!!”

“Quite the toy store. The staff are friendly, I went in looking for a unique chess board and they had one in stock. The prices are quite fetching in this store and I did not get the item because of that, but still a good spot for the family and kids in the neighborhood to meander in and have fun.”
“The second my partner and I saw how unassuming this shop is we knew we were in for something good. The collection in here is amazing, and the owner is very nice. You can tell there is a lot of love for collecting and anime/geek culture in here. Really wide selection spanning tons of different anime, manga, comics, games, across many decades. Japanese moomin merch (or ANY moomin merch, for that matter) is really hard to come by in the u.s., and we were able to get a cute moomin plushie from Japan, one that neither my partner and I have ever seen before despite being moomin fans for 5+ years. Even if we hadn't gotten the plushie I was honestly happy knowing that the owner at least knew what moomin was. I'll definitely be stopping by in the future next time I'm in Oakland/Emeryville.”
“Owner is so cool. Very friendly and has great hospitality. I got some Pokemon cards from him and priced things according to the current market. Huge fan! Will come again”
“Has everything. College vibes abound. Prices are a little higher then the cheapest on the internet but feel fair given that there is actually helpful staff around.”

“Wasn't sure what to make of this shop when I first moved into the neighborhood, but two years later I don't know what I'd do without it! They have a very well-curated selection of cards, way better than you'd find in a drug store or supermarket. They also have a constantly rotating collection of random giftable items that have helped me out in a pinch on several occasions. Prices might be a bit higher than some other places, but good taste doesn't come cheap!”
“Maggie is friggin wonderful. About a year ago I started a personal conscierge service. Needless to say I'm still learning how to shop for items that are not PS5 or Steam related. Good ole Maggie eased my anxiety and made it an overall pleasant interaction. Once again. Thank you young lady. You're the bomb.”

“Tucked in a quiet corner of the 99 Ranch complex is Candy Box. The store is stuffed full of adorable anime and Studio Ghibli paraphernalia. You no longer have to go to Japan Town to get your fix. The owner of lovely and her offerings are unique. I can't wait to go back!”
“The Lawrence Hall of is an amazing place! Perfect place for kids to explore and play. Different aspects of science to appease whatever mood he's in and keep him engaged and curious. I love all of the hands on activities and fun ways to learn science concepts. It's not filled with a bunch of exhibits with reading and pictures only, but actual activities with included supplies or high quality displays to touch. Only thing I would change would the food selection. The cafe has been closed and the snacks in the gift shop are hardly foods that any responsible parent would give their kids (the most nutritious thing is a lunchable or protein pack with almonds and cheese). The rest are chips/candy/cookies. So bring your own lunch.”
“Very cute toy shop down this street. It's 2 stories and is decorated from top to bottom. Definitely a great place to bring your kids or just to look around if you just like cute things in general. They have gift wrapping here as well and there's some children's books on the top floor. Lots of unique toys that you generally won't find in big retail stores with a toy section, but they have some popular and familiar characters, brands, and series too (Minecraft, Sonic, etc.). Of all the shops down this street, I think this one stood out the most.”

“The staff is very knowledgeable about real books. But the store seems to lack the majority of books, half of the story still books but the other half is toys, games and other ridiculous items that I would not buy in a bookstore.”

“After years of not playing Call of Duty, my PS4 was just sitting collecting dust. Needless to say I all of a sudden wanted to play and drove out to this location. Val was our helper and as soon as we walked in, we were immediately greeted even though she had about 7 other customers ahead of us. She was running back and forth attending everyone in order. Not sure if she was the only one scheduled but it was pretty busy around 4 pm. She killed it! Found the games everyone was looking for through the computer and running to the section where they are located. Some she even knew precisely where they were located without the help of the computer like WHATTTTT! She helped me sign up for the rewards program they offer with my phone number and even gave my discount that same day. Val you are a superstar and wish you the best of luck with the company. Please shout her out or give some kind of recognition she deserves.”
“Floor to ceiling with toys for all ages. I bought my nephew a geode to break open. All seems a little pricey to me but I come from an era when the woods or a good mud hole was considered fun to last years.”
“Amazing selection of toys, from vintage puzzles to modern-day action figures. The items are stacked to the ceiling. There's literally something for everyone. It's almost a sensory overload.”
