Shaved my dog’s stomach and gave him razor burn. His cut also looked horrible. The people here are nice which is why I gave two stars.

Thank you Naomi for making my baby boy look so handsome! Perfectly round head, and paws. Given the quality of his haircut I thought they’d charge me WAY more!

Let my mom set up an appointment for a trim and my pomeranian, came back with a receipt claiming it was just a bath for $82! He’s shedding all over the place. Like what did you actually do? Unacceptable!

First time getting our new rescue, Eloise aka "Ellie" and official groom session. I did a pre-visit to ask all the doggo mama questions including how do you support animals while they wait for their owners to pick them up, do you muzzle to get the grooming done, do they get a walk, water, and snacks while they wait for their turn to get groomed, etc. All the responses were great! I definitely did my research on multiple groomers before deciding on my top few, including Under One Woof. Since Ellie was on the smaller side less than 25lbs, they allowed her to wait in this smaller play pen with other small dogs in between her bath and grooming appointment including while they waited for me to come pick her up which I loved. No caging per my request. I also did thorough research on the groomers at this location: read their bios on the website and google searched further to make sure there weren't any documented bad reviews online. I selected the top groomers I would feel comfortable pampering our baby and we got scheduled with Hiromi. She specializes in the Teddy Bear cut, which we wanted. Ellie came back to use looking clean, fluffed, sparkling, and pampered after her spa day with Hiromi. She even got a doggie report card for how the session went. I did forewarn them that she is a rescue and we are unsure of her reaction to being groomed by strangers. We definitely brush her fur and teeth daily at home with occasional baths but it can be a different experience for puppos when it's someone they don't trust yet. I made sure to pack her favorite liver treats to get her to cooperate but I knew she'd be scared and anxious regardless after hearing pups barking to get out. Overall, they said she had some shivering, anxiety, and nervousness but didn't bite or show signs of aggression so they knew she was just scared but not in any pain. The entire session took about less than 2 hours since they did ease her into the process. Hiromi not only delivered on the cut but also gave her a nice sky blue polka dot bow to match her collar and rope leash which was darling. I only deducted a star because after a few days of being home and brushing her we noticed that Ellie's ears were trimmed lopsided, same with her chin. We didn't complain but definitely something to mention to them next time we take her. I was happy to not see any aftermath of blood cuts or pain she experienced post-grooming based on lots of generalized reviews out there about most dog groomers on Reddit, YouTube etc. she was a very happy girl coming home and throughout the month so I knew she was okay. Thank you, Under One Woof!

I took my dog here for about a year and honestly the customer service has been super on and off. Today was my last visit. The groomers have always been very nice and even handed in their demeanor towards me as a customer. I think where things fall short is at the front desk reception. The guy who works at the front has had an attitude with me in the past and I can say the same with the woman too (different visits). I brought my dog in today to get his grooming fixed (there were a few areas that needed some attention and I called beforehand to set up the visit). When I arrived it was awkward and the guy didn't greet me as he usually does. The woman said hi and then told me it would be just a moment. The guy then got up and walked towards a side room (where the groomers came out of later) and said "it's too early for this" now I'm not sure what happened while they had me on hold for my feedback on the grooming but I was on hold for like up to 3-4mins so again I don't know why he would say that other than that I had objective feedback that my dogs grooming wasn't up to par. The comment felt directed towards me. Again, so awkward and uncomfortable for me. The groomer came out and we discussed what needed to get done and I believe the head groomer who has seen my dog before was also present to provide guidance for the groomer who did the original cut. The whole thing took about 15 mins but it's too much awkward fuss and disrespect to continue going here. I understand this place is a small operation but providing objective feedback isn't wrong or bad. It shouldn't put a customer in a bad situation when dealing with reception because they don't want to deal with it. The girl at the front was talking to the guy about something unrelated while I was sitting on the bench and he said something to her and then she said "are you serious right now?" seems like the attitude was being dished out all around today. My dog looks great now but again, if I have to deal with this every-time I have some feedback on a grooming I'm not coming back. Groomer feedback is that the cut I got yesterday from Maya had some clear areas that were glossed over. Mainly blending between the ears, and some choppiness on the body. There's other groomers there that do an excellent job for smaller breeds and they are highly skilled. It's disappointing that if you get a groomer and they mess up the cut the same groomer has to make the adjustments as I learned today. This is why I mention that the head groomer was there for my feedback. The receipt says you have 7 days to come back and this is essentially what I did but it was met with so much attitude and unpleasantness for me. Weird to offer that and then be met with an abrasive attitude. Maybe rethink the policy if you don't want to offer it. Grooming's are bound to go wrong.
