Unlike what the other bot reviews say, this is a decent post office with professional staff. You treat them like human beings and they do the same for you, end of story.

Had my fingerprints done here; it took more than a dozen tries to get high quality prints (apparently I have sweaty hands 😅) but they were so patient and kind, and after working with me on it for 15+ mins, we got 10 high scoring prints. Thank you so much for not giving up on my clammy hands!

Don’t go to this one they are rude my nephew brought my dad here and there a language barrier my dad was there to buy a stamp it only cost 79 cents and all my dad has was a 20 the lady had an attitude she took my dad money and never gave him his change she said she didn’t have changes. But why not sell him a whole book instead of giving him 1 stamp? I hate writing bad reviews but I also hate when someone take advantage of an older person too.

Sent a letter that came back due to a human error from the post office, the lady couldn’t send it back. Her tone was very rude and dismissive. Such a bad experience. It has been weeks since they are out of small bubble envelope, what a going on to the main alameda post office?

We scheduled a passport with photo appointment 5 weeks in advanced. When we arrived they had us wait 20 minutes past our appointment time. Then asked us where our photos were to which I explained this appointment included photo. They informed us that their camera wasn't working and the official passport guy actually didn't come into work today. They told us we would have to reschedule our appointment. We drove over to walgreens and had our pictures taken and printed within 20 minutes but the post office still wouldn't review our applications at that point. We are very disappointed in the service at this location and will be taking our applications elsewhere.

Came for a walk-in passport on a Saturday. They were not taking people at 7:25am. Said they took in 4 people for the day and not taking any more. Super unfair and there was no line.

My mail keeps getting stolen BEFORE it ever get to my maolbox. I echo the others in their reviews..THIS post office is not customer friendly.

Went in to drop a package off. Lady at counter is absolutely rude and lifeless; if this is your chosen job, maybe try to enjoy it a little. She sent me to the back of the line three different times, and I had to correct something that she could have elaborated on the first two times. Absolutely horrible customer service.
