The passport center at the Walgreens in Southshore Center is terrible. I went in to get an Irish Passport photo. Staff there did not know the requirements and took a photo that was both too close and low resolution. When I attempted to use the online passport process using the photo they took it was rejected. After looking up the requirements, I went back, showed the requirements to them, and had another photo taken. Same result. Rather than try again I went to Leetone Photo in San Francisco. They took a photo and I applied online for the passport successfully first time. Don't waste your time and money. Skip Walgreens.

Got my migraine medication refilled here on Christmas Eve. I thought this was gonna be a battle but the refill was ready for pickup within an hour from my doctor's appointment. They even got my health insurance info. I did create a new request on their website where I had to provide the details about the medication and the prescriber, so maybe doing that speeds things up.

Today we had an appointment for our passports. They called us from the post office almost an hour before our scheduled appointment, telling us that the camera wasn't working. So we went to the Walgreens Photo center. Upon arriving Lorena was the only person there. She helped us immediately. Soon after around 3 different families showed up. Lorena was able to help each family out in a quick and professional fashion. I don't know how she did it but she was very quick and didn't seem stressed out at all. She was very professional kind and helpful.

I filed a complaint 12/18/23, Britany the pharmacy manager, did not call me back until 12/27/23. The worst customer service ever. I had a flu shot 12/7/23 and a Covid 19 shot 12/ 18/23, both shots there was no quality control. Neither shot adminster, ask me for my first , last name, neither verified the vaccine I was to get, neither told me I should sit for 15 minutes after each shot. Very dangerous, as there was no proper quality control, or safety measures from either of the the people who admistered the shot. The pharmacist did not administer the shot ( as is standard at CVS), who knows what the background of the person who administered my vaccines were. I highly recommend goint to CVS instead of Walgreens for any vaccines. CVS follows strick safety protocals and only their pharamists administer the shots. There is a reason why all yelp reviews are 1 -2 stars for this Walgreens, it is the worst. !!!!!!!Absolutely the worst customer service, worst safety.

Pharmacy is understaffed. There is always a huge line. Even with an appointment for a vaccine and I was early at 8:40 for an 8:45 appointment, I did not get my shot until 9:15 and there was no one here. What is the point of an appointment?

Typical Walgreens with added Alamedians... Never had a problem here. Staff seem very helpful and friendly.

This is for the pharmacy! I had a dentist call in a prescription into the pharmacy and what ensued was absolute chaos. It took three trips to get the prescription filled and countless issues. Terrible customer service that did t know what happened to the prescription only acknowledging that they received it. Rude and unprofessional, just as bad as a trip to the dmv if not worse!

The pharmacy is so poorly run. As an example, doctor sent in a prescription. I called to see the status of the prescription. It took many phone calls and a visit to be told they do not have the pills on stock. They did not notify the doctor or me. I had to notify the doctor and ask him to cancel the original prescription and write a new one for half the dosage and twice as many pills. This took 4 days. I have so many more horror stories. One of the most irritating is when I get different information from different people.

The Pharmacy has very poor customer service. I am basically confirming prior reviews. When I called I was sent to hold then after waiting 45 minutes they picked up and hung up immediately. This happened repeatedly until I finally connected with someone. The pharmacist refused to give her name. Not even a first name or a made up name. Now I am having trouble transferring my prescriptions because CVS can't seem to contact them!

The pharmacy staff was incredibly heartless and rude. A staff error resulted in them not filling my needed medication, and instead of helping me solve the issue they caused, they told me to go to the ER.Use a different pharmacy.

I wish I had read the reviews on the pharmacy before confirming with the hospital. This is a sad set up. It is unbelievable how your techs treat/ speak to people who are there for medication- not just me but also the few people before me.
