Why is this building even here? I went in with a business question. No one at the front desk. I found a lady around the back who somewhat rudely pointed out that she couldn't help me and told me to speak to the manager before instantly dismissing me with absolutely no possibility of asking a follow-up question. The manager was nowhere to be found. Hovered around for about 10 minutes, then left.

Unfathomably Terrible. It is impossible to imagine a bank branch that is run more inefficiently, that has worse customer service, and that was designed more poorly than this one. I don't even think it's worth my time explaining this to anyone else. But it is absolutely the worst. The staff are inept. They can't handle any reasonable requests or expectations. And the design is absolutely absurd. It is telling to see how many one star reviews begin with essentially the same words: Worst branch anywhere!

What bank doesn't open until 10am? Absolutely ridiculous. Everytime I go into the branch it's a complete disaster, takes me forever to get anything done and they close at 4pm- must be a nice workday to only be accountable for 6 hours!

I made the very big mistake of moving my accounts to BofA from another large bank because I was interested in a better Brokerage platform, it was the worst decision I could have made. I feel like I have stepped back 30 years in time, their online capabilities could not be worse and then they force you into a branch and there is no one who can actually help you. I first moved my brokerage account which went pretty seamlessly then one of their Branch managers insisted on helping with a checking account but I had trouble accessing it, tied to him setting it up incorrectly, and never received a debit card so I used the online site to open in, it took longer than it should have but I finally got it open and the debit cards. Then we were in the market for a Mortgage and again I tried their online application, and it kept losing my data in the middle of the application, it would not even allow me to enter my Merrill account as an asset. I called in and getting help from a mortgage consultant was near impossible they really only support East Coast times and they told me the Application is new and terrible so it is best to work with someone (problem is no one is ever available). Most recently, I had to open a joint account with my daughter (minor) as she just got a job and needs a checking account. I opened the online application as a joint application, spent 20 minutes filling all in, they sent her an email asking her to upload passport, etc but then it kept taking her in a loop. I called in and they said they don't actually accept minor applications on the phone - the Application should have indicated that. They are now telling me I can come into a branch and it will only take 30 mins after spending 20 minutes so 50 minutes to open a checking account!!! Most fintech can open a checking account in under 5 mins. So they told me to make an appointment in the Branch and there are no appointments so I showed up at this Alamo branch and they actually don't talk to customers any more unless you have an appointment. I am looking forward to moving to Chase, worst service I could ever imagine. I rather do everything online but their online capabilities are minimal and then they encourage you to come into a branch where no one works?

Your $$ is NOT SAFE -i've been trying to clear up a fraud charge that was admittedly the banks fault for a week.....still no money in my account or help. I have a lot of messages left, transferred phone calls that were dropped and frustration though. Save your headache and take your business to another big bank like Chase

Like many others commenting on here, I've been with BofA since I was 5, that's 55 years; my parents obviously had trust in the bank then. Not so any longer for myself and so many others on here. I'm done with them. Either the banks hire many nasty staff by luck, or their training on how to provide customer service is non-existent or set aside once training is completed. Even the Vice Presidents and General Managers are rude, challenging, and, most currently, expressing their own stress and poor working conditions to customers...that does a lot to promote customer satisfaction, right? ANd, as most all agree on here, this is not something new due to covid...this is how BofA has worked for a number of years, not just since the pandemic. It is a greed machine that promotes greed and disregard of customers by the employees. Today I was told that the branch is a federal building...interesting, right?...especially in a strip mall next to a camera store and eyeglass outlet...I guess I was speaking to the 20-something Secretary of the Treasury and her sidekick the U.S. Treasurer! And, no photos of our President or Vice President, how disrespectful in a federal building! I think something is a little off and the focus has moved so far away fro, customer service that customers are now seen as challenges rather than the ones who support the employees' low wages as BofA rakes in billions...probably by staffing with untrained individuals whom you never see again in 4-6 months and 1-2 employees assigned (not necessarily working, but present) for scores of customers. Again, not new, and this has definitely been around since pre-covid. No other bank may be better...at least it will be different, though, moving on after so long with BofA...greed has done something to so many people simply by their being part of the greed machine. Thank you, BofA for proving exactly what you are, as reported in customer reviews, media and publications, and by the many disgruntled and abused customers...must be worth it to some greedy individuals...

If I could give negative stars I would. Every time I come in here there's a line 8 people deep with 1-2 tellers. I've been standing and waiting 15 mins for one teller to get through 2 transactions. The second teller is just sitting at window. Every time sloooooow doesn't begin to describe this place.

The good news - lots of locations and services. The bad news - massive indifference to customers. Individual employees can be helpful, but the bank policies are almost always insultingly bad. Even small issues become a big pain in the butt because BofA just won't make even routine requests easy. (My bad ---I've been a BofA Customer for several decades (!!!).) The latest annoyance -- I just need to get more check registers, without going to a branch in person. Silly me. Called Customer Service, on hold 20 minutes listening to recorded commercials....finally hung up.

Well, I really haven't been a fan of B of A for 20-30 years. IMO they treat the customers like S**t, and have done so for years & years. U go to the bank and have a ridiculously long wait to do your business, and it was like that before Covid-19. It certainly hasn't improved over the last year. Not to mention they have closed 1/2 of the branches. They should sell the branches they are no longer using, and hire more workers. Then us poor customers won't die from old age while waiting in line. Keeping all that in mind, some workers are Awesome and some aren't.

BAMBOOZLED by Bank of America Read the post regarding Bank of America holding of Decedent's funds and found it to be true, as I am experiencing the exact same issue with B.O.A. In holding my Mother's Estate funds hostage. I am my Mother's Trustee of her Trust, yet cannot access ANY information from B.O.A. I would certainly like to contribute my unconscionable experiences with B.O.A. to your Blog/Reports. Tell me how I may warn many about such business practices of Bank of America!

I wish I did not have accounts here. Impossible to get on the phone. Treats customers like they are a bother. Isn't anybody in senior management listening.

They are the worst Bank I've ever had to deal with. In my line of work I regularly deal with them all. This week I Stood in line 50min. Only to be told by the teller he could not pull up my Credit Card info to address my issues. Every time I've gone in in recent years there has always been a very long line with never more than two tellers helping customers. People in suits sit in their office or stand around talking to each other instead of helping/serving clients standing in line..... I will be closing out ALL my accounts and NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM again !!!

Rudest teller I have ever seen in a bank! She was rude to the guy in front of me as well. First and last time in this bank! Thursday july 9th 3:30 pm. Tried to call the bank but nobody would pick up! Done with BOA!
