Totally subpar, it needs major work. Its too big almost. The lighting, atmosphere and space needs to be reconfigured. The pharmacy was frustrating as they did not have any of the RXs I needed so I switched to another place.

I have bought multiple gift cards from this place and 99% of the times, it was either already redeemed, or unreadable. When I went to the staff they said I had to speak to the manager who continently wasn’t there. They gave me bs advice and sent me off. I will NEVER come back to that god forsaken store.

I’ve been using Amazon’s pharmacy service for about five years, when it first landed, and it’s been a total game-changer. I originally picked up prescriptions in person, but grew frustrated of constantly discussing co-pays, deductibles, and grace period changes. After moving to Danville, it became even more frustrating to secure vital medications in an increasingly complex insurance landscape. Thankfully, Amazon handles all the insurance interactions on my behalf, so I don’t have to spend hours on the phone. While the staff at CVS are friendly, their service just doesn’t feel five-star when complications arise. With Amazon, everything is streamlined and worry-free. Highly recommended!

I called to ask if my prescription was ready, but I’m not sure if the person named “BOK” was a pharmacist or a pharmacy technician. They were so rude and unfriendly that it made me not want to speak to them at all. Before being a pharmacist, I think they should learn basic human decency and how to interact with people properly. Even if they can’t be kind, they should at least avoid being outright rude. If they’re going to act this cold, a computerized message would’ve been less unpleasant and more efficient.
I might look for another pharmacy, but I went here because it’s local. Now I see other reviews also give them terrible ratings... How can this situation even be fixed? It feels utterly hopeless.

I don’t think I’ve ever left a one star review in my life, until now. Avoid this pharmacy at all cost - horrible service, lost prescription…

Very positive. Pharmacist and staff went beyond requirement to make sure my prescription was filled given I was here temporarily without my medicine. thank you.

I go to the store in Alamo. My very first time to this CVS location. The technician name was MARJAN.
It looked like a coupon card was built for my son’s prescription. I presented her with my insurance card. She asked me if I still wanted to go ahead with a coupon card and then for next time present the insurance card for them to bill. This indicated clearly that she did not want to do that extra step of adding my actual insurance. What really bugged me was her attitude. The entire time she was entering my insurance information on the Computer, she was upset and kept saying “aye aye aye”. This is an actual insurance card with the proper BIN & PCN numbers. Mind you there were zero customers waiting other than me at that time.
I gave her the only insurance card I had with me, which was my younger son’s insurance. The prescription pick up was for my older son. She asked me what’s the relationship is for the insurance holder “ I said pardon, this is my younger son’s insurance card”.
For which she replied, “I don’t care what the relationship is between the younger son, I care what the relationship is between the cardholder and the patient”. Wow, could you be any more rude???
I am a pharmacist myself, and worked in retail locations for years. If my technicians are behaving like this with a customer, I will definitely have a talk with them.
No matter how busy the store gets or how bad your day is, you cannot lash out at the customers.
This was my first time to this pharmacy and this will be my last time.

I recently got a passport photo done and picked up prescriptions. Staff is nice and helpful. CVS need to update their computers as we saw employee struggle with slow computers and systems.

Good selection of items. When i went to check out, there were no cashiers. There was a weight problem trying to get out another bag. The cashier came and counted my items. She did not count anyone else's when the same issue occurred. She was treating me as though i was stealing; it was humiliating.

I go to CareLink in Tice Valley area of WC now. Strongly recommend. Moved into area & tried this place for 6 months but pharmacy staff incompetent or untrained. Systems so screwed up had to wait 40 min on phone before talking to person. Faster to drive there & wait 20 min in line if I have problem. They messed up my Rx's & insurance constantly. All chain pharmacies cut back staffing so much they can't keep up & can't train staff. Most insurance you can go any place. Highly recommend you find mom & pop pharmacy. They're out there, they remember your name & prescriptions, rarely more than one person in pharmacy and they run efficiently because that's all they do.

CVS in Alamo California is trying so hard to train people to use the self checkouts. It has gone from being a consumer friendly place to a frustrating, alienating experience. Clerk turnover has become outrageous. I never see the same face anymore. The poor clerk on duty has to constantly come and try to help people who are having problems with the machines. They no longer have people behind the counter, offering traditional. check out services

I was in and out in less than a minute. Needed to buy some bottled water. Picked it up, walked over to the self checkout, checked myself out, and done. Didn't have to interact with a single person. Convenient parking. No complaints.
