A sweet place to find magical moments as one looks at all the intriguing items! Like a little museum. And when tempted, it's a fine place to buy something unforgettable to take home.

I came here from Oakland. The store is supposed to be open, but it's not. There's a sign on the door that says, "Back in a minute." There is nothing to indicate what time the sign was posted, which of course makes it meaningless. Another lady & I have been waiting over 20 minutes & no one has shown. This is so unprofessional! My advice: find another store to patronize.

This is a great store on wonderful Solano Avenue. I bought some incense and had a very nice talk with the owner. There are singing bowls, jewelry and many other things as well. The family also operates an excellent restaurant across the street. I am glad they are here.

This is by far one of the best shops I've been to in a while. Their selection of ambient gift accessories and textiles are second to none. I purchased a Ganesh here and it has brought me tremendous luck during a time where I was down in the dumps. This store somehow provides a vibe of peace, openness, and freedom. I can't wait to go back for my next purchase!

Wow. What a beautiful space on their store! I can't believe I have never been inside until now, as I've walked by it a thousand times. It wasn't until a friend suggested that I go to a Tibetan store for a Gana for my alter that I gave it any thought. A couple days later I had parked right in front of it to go to Bank if America. I went in with no expectations and was so surprised at the lovely things they have there; from sweaters to statues to slippers, everything is made with such love. The woman seemed like the real deal. She was friendly and answered all my questions. At one point I will be back for a gold plated statue. They are absolutely beautiful.

As another Yelper stated; I needed to escape from home. I hadn't been to Berkeley since I had my daughter there...she is 13 now. Friends of mine kidnapped me and drug me all over the place. Just before we left I found a few stores that sold imported items. This store smelled of soothing incense. There was beautiful artwork, fabric, statues all around. Beautiful music was playing. I was entranced and felt as though I was in another world. Since I love all things that are scarves I had to go through them all and find the perfect one. The lady who helped me showed me all of the colors and she was not pushy and did not try to sell me anything. She showed me different types of scarves and how to wear them. Now I am not one to spend a lot of money on a scarf but this scarf was like nothing I had ever seen before. This store is filled with hidden treasures and the smell of a sanctuary. If you looking for an adventure; just walk through this stores front door.

My husband and I came to Berkeley to escape the home improvement chaos that's going on in our home over the weekend. New tub, deck being pressure-washed, etc. We came to Telegraph specifically to go Dark Entry, but I talked him into coming here, too. The inside smells of incense and the bright patterns of color that spring from the many fabrics and wares lure you further into the quiet recesses. There is calming music played softly from hidden corners, and every square inch of space is used to display something exotic and beautiful. The fabrics range from silk to corduroy, and there are many different articles of clothing fashioned from patches of cloth, or all from the same bright bolt. On shelves surrounding the space are all kinds of statues, some recognizable as Buddahs, others were beyond my recollection of the meager world studies classes from high school. We found one of a man and woman intertwined, she holding a knife, (to cut away ignorance) and a skullcap with a pearl, (for protection) It's hand carved from a beautiful dark reddish wood, and the detail is so good, that you could stare at it for hours and not cease to notice new things. Our purchase was not cheap, but we both loved it so much that we agreed it belonged in our bedroom. The gentleman running the store had a kind, quiet voice, as he explained some of the detail on the piece. He handled it with reverence and care as he wrapped it up in a cloth bag to protect it during transport. I saw so many things I liked here, that I'll definitely be back!

Absolutely one of the best stores of it's type in the Bay Area (probably the best)! Has lots of traditional wall hangings and things like prayer flags. Also has some really neat hand made colorful wallets and backpacks. Also has an assortment of men's and women's clothing, all traditional Tibetan and Nepalese. I got a really god jacket like thing, I wear it all the time! Really friendly owner explains every question you have
