Products for Asian style are less expensive. Some produce is cheaper than the regular markets. They also have some American products, that can cost less.

New owners AGAIN! As of July 11 2023 the nice Myanmar family (of Indian origin) that previously took over call it quits in just two years, due to lack of help as I was told. During their short tenure the market was actually doing pretty well due to the many varieties they've added such as a Burmese (Myanmar) section and ready to eat food, they even added a 'sushi' station! The new owner now is Pakistani-American. The store is being gutted out during my last recent visit on July 14 as we speak. It was a mess and I had to ask. According to sources he will be using a good amount of space as a wholesale business. Now I don't know what the fate will be but from what I'm hearing it doesn't sound too interesting, but do hope I am wrong about this! Will most of the signature 'Asian' items be revamped with new additions or will they turned the market into something entirely different? Whatever it is I hope they'll retained and make additional improvements. On a last note I'd like to thank 'Harrison', the previous family member that owned the store for his help and great customer service.

One of my all-time favorite neighborhood stores. With the same crew for decades, I am not surprised they all live under the same roof, like an orchestra, the whole team is humming along seamlessly. From picking up a newspaper, childhood snacks, produce, poultry, anything, even using their restroom. Especially the register ladies, are always accommodating as an auntie next door. I am not surprised this place may keep going for many years to come, as long as the loyal followers are alive.

Ive done my laundry next door for months and I've never been inside this store. So a couple days ago I decided to get a drink from there instead of Starbucks. I grabbed a Gatorade and saw two lines open both with a customer in each. I went to the one with less items and immediately this elderly Asian woman yells at me "Closed go to next one". So I went to the other checkout and as I'm walking I see an Asian gentleman carrying 5/6 different fruits and vegetables and he's walking towards the same checkout I was just yelled "closed" to. So I watch as he puts his items down and she began scanning his items, no questions asked . So I paid my Gatorade at the "open" one and thought man that was some old school racism. I guess you have to be Asian to go in Asian market. First n last time I go in there. Sheesh

Something is going seriously wrong at this grocery. Checked a few snacks and they are all expired. Bought a soy bean milk, and it also went bad before I opened it.

You can have Burmese groceries such as tea leaves, dried fish, dried shrimp, Burmese preserved foods, sour leaves, fried fish paste, assorted Burmese curry cans. Overall, it is a great place to shop. You can also have fresh sushi. You can have biriyani on weekend. They have sushi special discount on Friday evening.

So I came to buy egg noodles to make the dupe for the famous CRUSTACEAN garlic butter secret noodles , and had I not checked , all bags of noodles had mold , I feel bad if elderly or babies eat this because I know their immune system won't be able to handle this without them getting sick , I told a couple of cashiers , but of course they just seem to brush it off . They're still on the shelf .
