I am not sure if this is her name, but it was the name on the receipt, so I am thinking it is safe to guess her name is Sheng. If the teller was Sheng, she was a slow teller, and her customer service was not professional. I didn't like how I was judged and profiled and questioned to withdraw money from my own account. Every time I go to a bank and use my debit card and pin at the ATM or teller line, for that matter, it never takes this long. I just went to the teller line because I needed different denominations. At least my transaction was accurate, but she was just extremely unpleasant through this entire transition. Even most of my bills were wrinkly and ugly, not that that entirely matters, money is money. However, I know some different banks that give some newer and nicer bills regularly that are not here. Sheng just shrugs it off with a "just kidding" still acting skeptical, still taking a long time to do the transaction scrolling in my account. Just because it was a joint account? Maybe she is inexperienced, but I never had an issue at any other BMO before. I have been banking with BMO for more than 10 years before the conversion when it was called "Bank of the West." There was a lot of parking, but the arrows in the ground were very particular, so be careful. Even though BMO looks like they have a drive thru, I believe most or all of them do not. What is the purpose of the weird pillars of the side of the BMOs? (If anyone in banking or from BMO knows, please let us know because they seem a little misleading, looking as if they are drive-thru ATMs while they are not). There is 1 outdoor ATM that feels very uncomfortable to go to around the corner, near those pillars. I don't want to be treated like some peasant whether my account may reflect that or not, it is very unprofessional and not a good look for BMO to treat your clients due to discriminating factors, by their profile, whether they are at a lower tier, they physically do not look a certain way, and/or their bank account may have a certain balance or not. I wish I had the great service I used to before the conversion, Bank of the West. Where are you? I have been a loyal client for over 10 years, and this is how BMO is now? I will only go here if I absolutely need to now, but I do not want to be discriminated against, so it definitely caught me off guard to what is supposed to be a professional setting. I can no longer confidently say I love banking with Bank of the West genuinely because they are gone and their spirit after the conversion to BMO is gone too. I do bank with other banks as well, so I think I will go there so I am not treated in such an unprofessional matter by someone who is unconfident, confused, and skeptical at the same time, during the entire transaction. For someone who doesn't know how to do their job, she was pretty judgemental towards me, for acting with discrimination towards me for my looks or my bank account balance. She even had the audacity and managed to force this out of her mouth, "See you next month or next time!" It was so insincere it almost made me laugh. I honestly hope I see her never again and other people do not have to experience discrimination, which is also supposed to be a thing of the past. If you have other options, I recommend other banks, BMO has gone down in quality and professionalism. (I'm speaking of other branches too). But at least I got my transaction done accurately, in a very slow and glaring matter.

Hello everyone, we all know BMO is a new bank and unfortunately I live in Alhambra and like to shop and do my business localSo what do I do when I walk in the bank and it’s empty and the Asian lady tells me to wait 30 minutes but then she calls me back and says she has several appointments throughout the day so she won’t be able to help me today nor tomorrow how should I take that ?

They will purposely use their app to fail showing transactions in time to steal your money with overdraft fees. THEY DO NOT TRY TO BE BETTER OR DO RIGHT. BAD SERVICE. THIEVES.

This is a horrible bank, please read your information carefully when you open the accounts there. They trap you into opening accounts/card that you don't need and ended up paying yearly fees. It happened to me. After I found out, I closed it and was promised that they will deduct my fee for 2020 but since I asked for refund for all the other years, the refused and don't even give me back for 2020 even when I canceled my card. Customer service at all Bank of the West I went always referred me back to my branch. When I called the 800 number always got the runaround.

This is the worst bank experience I ever encountered open a new account to this branch. Be very careful when opening an account. They will be misinformed you the policy and you will be penalized overdraft fee. Especially the supervisor won't admit her mistake. Even you call customer service to file complain are you be getting a runaround and the end they rob you. It's a high way robbery what they are doing and they have the worst customer service. Think twice before you open an account with them. Bottom line they won't help you at the end. You will be taking a loss. . They won't admit it's a bank error and we have to be penalized for there mistake. "Be Very Careful opening account especially this branch.

I was treated friendly when I came here. Line wasn't long when I came in before 10am.. Got the job done in a few minutes. Now hire many Chinese-speaking bankers which is convenient, considering it's a asian community. Everyone there was friendly and was very helpful!!! Great place to bank.

does not exchange CAD to USD. no one knew what to do. guy clicked around. waited a long while before someone telling me they don't buy CAD at this bank at all. told me i can only get it exchanged at the airport. lies, went to Citi Bank with a friend who has an account there. A+ i'm considering switching and becoming a member there.
