Very bad experience with the person who helped me at CVS de Target in Alhambra, it is the second time that this person treats me like I am asking for something for free.I will change pharmacies.

Not happy with the pharmacy clerk !! I have covid unfortunately. I let my 17 yr old go drop off the prescription which is for Tylenol 500 mg and zofran (nausea medication ). She refused to give the prescription to her . I’m gonna make sure she is reported . As an ex pharmacy technician…. It’s up to the pharmacy clerk to use her better judgement on whom she gives the prescription. Anyone can go pick up your prescription for you . There’s no definitive law. Shame on you. When I find out who you are corporate will be knowing . See you soon .

As a Pharmacist myself, it is sad for me to share my experience with this CVS inside Target location. A while back , my wife had her wisdom teeth pulled and upon leaving the oral surgeons office we were handed a prescription for pain medication. We made the mistake of coming here to have it filled. Upon coming into the pharmacy i asked to speak to the pharmacist to see if we can expedite filling her prescription as a professional courtesy, fellow pharmacist here, and since the anesthesia was wearing off and she was in a lot of pain. To my surprise, the pharmacist was rude and said no, she will not expedite anything and to wait the 1 hour for her to fill the prescription. So the mistake i made was staying and waiting, and later found out the reason why it was going to take an hour. The pharmacist at the time was going on her lunch break and had no compassion for a patient what was currently in pain post oral surgery. I saw her leave as soon as we spoke , and return 45 min later then waited an addition 30 min for her to fill the prescription. Pretty cold hearted and unprofessional. As a pharmacist myself i would have triage the situation, anyone with sick kids , actively in pain , pregnant, or elderly would get fast tracked and sent home asap. She did not have this sense of compassion or work flow. In hind sight we should have just left and not waited for her rude treatment and utter disrespect. So if you are in urgent need of your meds post surgery or kids needs antibiotics for ear infection, i would avoid this location if time if of the essence. i also spoke to the district manager of CVS for this location and she was in complete agreement with her pharmacist and how this was handled, so it seems to be CVS culture from the front line up thru corporate as well. And to the pharmacist working at the time, i know you hate your job, try to hide it better and not take it out on the customers

Horrible pharmacy customer service be ware! I was there on a Tuesdy and there was a Tall asian lady in a white coat with straight black hair. I believe her name was Rebecca or Regina she would not council me on over the counter medicine. She kept saying it was a target brand and that they do not stock the floor, it was not her job and would not council or help me with any questions. She was very rude, unprofessional and demeaning. I tried to ask one of the other staff for assistance and she appeared to mistreat them too. Due to this poor customer service I Will not return to this location! Very dissapointed ?

They had great prices . We use fiber one cereal and it is often hard to find. They had a sale going on while we were there. So we stocked up.

Called to see if they take UPS returns as the CVS on Valley and Fremont refused to take our Amazon-ordered UPS return for some odd reason...anyway, we called to make sure this other CVS could take our return and got a long voice message where the only options were Covid testing, vaccines, PPE, etc...--isn't this winding down by now??? I mean, we don't even need masks at big events anymore. Anyway, when I pushed the one and lone button whereby to talk to someone in the store it just rings and rings. Now we have to drive there since they don't pick up their phone BUT the girl behind the counter when we arrived was sooo cool. She went above and beyond in customer service! And she called around, found a CVS who would take us and even helped us wrap our box!!! THANK YOU!! BONUS they are 24 hours

Do not get your covid test here for travel! It takes 3-4 days to get results and could jepordize your travel plans. You've been warned. Cvs is slow and have no control over the process.

Pharmacy will charge the insurance without you requesting for RX to be refill. You request not to have automatic refill and they will not remove it.
