Great environment where everyone is focused on working out. So many machines that I didn’t have to wait for anything. Highly recommend this place.

I’m in town a couple times a year and I just need a place to work out for a week at a time.Mission Fitness is that place. They have a great 1 week and 2 week pass that fits perfectly for my situation. So much equipment: benches, racks, platforms, you name it. Parking lot is always full, but still almost never have to wait for things. Chris is a nice guy too to top it all off.

I’d say this is the best gym if you are close to Alhambra or El Sereno area. Decent size. There are several squat racks and they recently bought new machines. You won’t have to wait for a machine here. Price is $65 a month but you get a quality gym that is very rarely crowded. Wendy and Chris are great, and care about their customers.

Great place to work out. I have an LA Fitness membership as well but here no stares or people acting up. No lines for the squat rack. I have increased my total weight lifting maxs and weighted reps. Membership is less than a cheap coffee a day. Best choice I made.

This is the best gym in the area. I'd even say it's the best gym within a 7-10 mile radius. The equipment is in excellent shape and I've never had to wait for a bench press, squat rack, or a machine. There is plenty of space for any kind of exercise you want to do. They also have C2 rowers, Assault Bikes, treadmills, etc.The facility is clean and the restrooms/locker rooms are spacious and have multiple stalls and showers. The owners, Chris and Wendy, keep everything in the facilities and snacks/refrigerator stocked. It's also priced very reasonably for the type of gym it is. Most powerlifting gyms with worse equipment charge almost double what is charged here. For as long as I live anywhere near this gym, I will always be a member.

Take advantage of all the equipment they provide and cleanliness. This is a real gym, L.A Fitness should be called Alley Fitness because that’s exactly what it turned into. An alley, dirty with sketchy people and no weights available. Commercial gyms suck!!

Been a member here for about 6 months... and I LOVE IT! I've worked at and worked out at several chain gyms and they all pale in comparison to this place. It doesn't have any sauna or pool, but they have showers and everything you could ever dream of when it comes to lifting. Tons of kettlebells, dumbbells, squat racks, deadlift platforms, oly lifting platforms, and turf (they have a sled you can push, my fav). I typically go at 5AM and it's never super crowded. All of the members have great gym etiquette- super kind and respectful and most importantly they re-rack their own weights. My man Jonny is there most mornings and is super helpful and chill. He works hard to keep the place clean and is super helpful showing new members how to use the equipment and even helps them with some exercises. I have nothing bad to say about this gym, 10/10 would recommend. I should also mention that there's no contract. I pay month to month and never once had to sit down and get a sales pitch. Finally found my gym home! Best one I've been to yet.

Have been going here for over 3 years now. When I first signed up, it was no hassle, no sales pitch, sign-up. Basically take it, if it works for me. The owner, Chris, is very chill, and knows what he's talking about for lifting, exactly what every true powerlifter, weightlifter, experienced lifter wants as the head staff. Experienced lifters don't cause drama, don't forget to rack weights, are respectful to each other, etc, and thats the general culture here. Price is very reasonable, only went up $5 since pre-covid.It has all the equipment I need, and every few months, they are constantly adding more equipment. It can get a little packed in peak hours due to the rise in popularity, so I always go pretty late to avoid the traffic. Very good place if you want to go and just do your own thing. They have standard commercial gym cardio machines too upstairs, as well as a punching bag and speed bag. There's a huge monkey bar looking contraption, and I barely completed on my second try, because I didn't want to fall to my doom. I bring several friends here regularly and they all really like it.

It's not about going hard or being hard for a month and burnout, it's about being consistent for a lifetime. And without further ado let's begin the fitness center review. Mission Fitness Center is an old school gym fitness center, and it's family owned and operated. It's located on Mission and Date ave in Alhambra. I like that they have all the fitness equipments, training machines, db-bb weights, boxing bags, rowers, treadmills and many more. Basically, a real gym's gym minus the corporate malarkey that other fitness clubs have. Their members were very respectful; they re-rack weights and wipe their machines after use. MFC is very spacious, well lit, well ventilated and temperature appropriate. Membership has different tier: Monthly, two week, a week, a day pass and a special last Friday of the month. Prices were reasonable. Parking lot is modest but plenty of street parking. Overall, I ENJOY every time I visit this gym.

Great gym for those looking to get in, workout and get on with the day.Plenty of free weights and space. Not like your chain fitness centers, where folks may be hogging up equipment busy on their phones.I purchased a one week pass since I was in town visiting family for the holidays.Looking forward to coming back when I visit again.

I’ve been a consistent gym member for almost 20yrs. This is easily one of the top 3 gyms I’ve ever seen. Plenty of weight, racks, and equipment you usually won’t find in a gym. Everyone there respects the gym so it’s always clean and organized.$65 bucks per month might sound more than the local competition, but as soon as I walked in it was clear - this place is in a class of its own & has no competition.
