A recent trip to Tmobil in hopes of purchasing another phone, or upgrading our existing. Shortly after I informed the manager I think he was, about our intentions of an upgrade or purchase, he informed me that our purchasing a third line would be cheaper for us. I kindly rejected his offer, he insisted on trying to sell me a third line I was not interested in. So I asked him to break it down to me and show me on paper, and explain to me how this would be cheaper for me. After his ten minutes or so of scratching on paper like a feline in a litter box to try and sell me a third line. I informed him that we had no use for a third line and would not use it, if we bought it. When he was done scribbling, his notes showed us spending another 1300 bucks on a line we weren't going to use. I then asked him, how that was cheaper or made sense. He walked away, maybe stomping his feet, with an elevated voice saying "I'm just trying to help people out". I actually thought I was very nice through the entire process, regardless of what I thought, I remained a gentleman, and respectful. Though it felt at the time to be a waste of my time it really was a confirmation and a true reflection of our society today. Ignorance on full display. No shame. Not too very sharp. And yet here we are.

SCAM ARTISTS! My 80+ year old father came to this location thinking that he was getting a great deal from T-Mobile based on the mailer sent to his home. When he asked me to help him understand why his bill was so high, I realized that he had been tricked into getting a new upgraded Samsung phone and tracking devices (T-Mobile's version of the Apple AirTags) at "no extra cost". All of these "no extra cost" items showed up on his bill with a monthly charge for the phone and monthly service charge for the trackers (which he was told to take 3 since they were "free", but really there's a service fee of $3/month per tracker). The worst part about the trackers is that we couldn't activate them and pair them with my dad's phone, so we called T-Mobile's support line and they told us to take the devices to the T-Mobile store when they couldn't troubleshoot. When we went to this store for tech support, they told us they couldn't help either and told us to call the phone support again. Since we had the non-functioning trackers, we wanted to return them, but they were now considered "used" and T-Mobile said that we had to continue paying for the service or pay for the trackers to deactivate them ($35/tracker). Given all of the frustrations with T-Mobile, we went to another store nearby and learned that this Alhambra store is actually a reseller for T-Mobile and not a T-Mobile owned store with a track record of tricking people. They have a history of luring customers into additional products and services without clearly outlining the costs with the plan that people don't notice anything when they set up auto-pay for their bill. This experience has been so terrible that I will never choose T-Mobile in the future.

I’ve been to many t-mobile stores and this is the worst one by far. Slow, unhelpful, and useless. I know this location doesn’t represent the T-Mobile brand because Ive been a customer for years and the employees always go above and beyond to help. I recommend the Rosemead location instead. I think her name was Sof or Sofia. Terrible, terrible.

Amazing staff, everyone there was so kind to explain the promotions to me and wrote everything down on a piece of paper for me. Would definitely go back there again!!

It's been several years since I been into t-mobile in Alhambra. I bought my last phone in 2018 but when I walked into the store today Eric still remembered me by my name. Several things have changed in my life, more kids, grandkids which ch requires more lines... Eric was so deligent about going over all my options for the best and economic value for my needs... He sealed the deal and even packaged up my accessories to help send out to my kids out of state. He gave me vip treatment in 2018 and continues to do the same in 2023. Shout out to Eric in the Alhambra store.

**DO NOT COME TO THIS LOCATION. My family & I came here in hopes of trading in our phones since we were in need of an upgrade. We had a guy try to help us & all he mentioned was just BS. He kept telling us to just go to Apple for the trade since it's a "better deal" so he wouldn't have to deal w/ trading 4 phones in. He gave us another option to change our line but even then the numbers he gave us didn't make sense. **** They also will add Apple care ins into your plan without telling you so you will need to deactivate that yourself ... MAKE SURE YOU TELL THEM IF YOU DON'T WANT IT. We drove all the way to Pasadena Apple for the trade in & they didn't allow in store trade ins. It's all online now so that was a bust. At this point we're going back & forth.... & it was frustrating. We ended up going to the Tmobile in Pasadena & they explained everything thoroughly. What ever bs the guy w/beanie & long hair mentioned at the Alhambra location didn't even come close to the numbers we got there. We ended doing our business with them & got our phones the same day. Like come on... it wasn't even that hard. My brother went back to the Valley location to give in his old phone to ship back since its close to us. Some asian guy then mentioned that he CANNOT take in the old iphone to trade in for him & that he needs to print out the label & do it himself. TF, they can. They just didn't want to do it. My bf did it at another location with no problem so why is it that this store is so incapable. The long list of 1 star reviews below mine explain enough-NEVER coming back.

This store on Valley, is not a corp store. My initial experience was great, I thought I was all set. I have subsequently come to understand there was a line added to my account that I did not need or want & and this was costly. Y’all have lost your commission on that. I also discovered the the internet box, should never have been offered, it was never going to work in my area. T-mobile also doesn’t give money back. While a credit NEXT month is nice, I’m out a lot of money now. I’m filing a complaint with T-Mobile directly about this non-corp store. This store, is sales centered with staff having an inability to adequate explain things or cancel an order….and then not tell me they could not. Most distressing was a phone line I’ve been charged for, that I did not ask for. I strongly recommend the store on Fremont/Huntington. If you run into Glen or Jessica, tell them I said HI! I have experienced nothing but patience & professionalism at that store.

This is by far the worst t-mobile. They don't know how to treat customers. And there's nothing more annoying than a manager who like to talk about non sense and loud too. Like nobody cares what you want to eat for lunch or that you forgot your spaghetti sauce. Giving me old products when the new ones are out. SMH. Never coming here again. Went to one not much further and got the best service I can ask for. It's not that hard.
