The service was less then ever expected On November 17 about 10:15 am . Adam the teller was disrespectful giving me what was starring at me as he was disgusted at my remarks to My wife how he let a costumer perched to her car to get her ID while waited in line instead of referring her to get her license and then become the next person in line we waited and as he over heard me making a comment to my wife I'm glad he gets paid by the hour and has all day instead of stopping the transaction and taking the next person in line he begins to stare at me I then said you going to stare at me he said I'm just looking around no your starring at me long story short the manager to his side in defense Costco that I work at has much more higher standards to say the least feel free to request me to follow up with a phone conversation or at min keep track of this employee for further complaints because those with these types of additives don't change until there tracked and acknowledged by management to be factual not all complaints are are reported so once an employee is determined to have repeated offenses then actual action an employer can take action this may be the first or I anticipate there has been other occasions

The staff here is so bad... I never knew I would have to leave a review for a bank. I had a pre-charged card the lady ran it and then said it "never went through" but then that pre-charged card company said it did... I then went in to have random service fee's removed and they gaslit me and told me I was never a rewards member we and I have been for 7 years.... Every time I've been in I've gotten dirty looks and treated absolutely horrible. Don't come here if you want your money stolen. Closed my accounts with them. Makes sense that Bank of America is getting sued right now. Awful awful staff.

Worst bank ever! We openned a new business account and they messed up with my other business account that caused it to be deactivated. Then force me to come to the bank to reactivate it!!!! They don't even give me access to my own money and saying it might take days before I see my money again!!!! WHY?!?!?!

How do I give this 0 stars? We were trying to find a lender that offered a Physician Loan and so our saga with BoA began. Another mortgage "specialist" directed us to Carol at BoA, a loan officer at a lender that seemingly offered these types of products. What a horrible experience!!!! I don't know what was going on with this lady but she's either never done a home loan or was having some sort of other issues. I'd like to give someone the benefit of the doubt but everyone in this office seemed to be incompetent...I had to speak to Carol's boss more than once about the lack of any sort of follow-up with her. The more I read about BoA Mortgage and their reputation the more I regretted not doing our research before we started with these guys. Carol couldn't figure out how to answer the phone, emails, or communicate the status of the loan at all. We'd have a conversation where she'd say "let me find out and call you back" and then she'd ghost, not answer her phone or email, and then days later pretend nothing had happened. Once, ok, but this went on for months! I wish I could get all the wasted time and energy back. Spare yourself the stress and aggravation and run away from BoA for anything to do with mortgages!!! If you need a Physician or Doctor Loan we recommend US Bank.... we finally gave up and switched lenders after wasting so much time and effort to an actual mortgage professional. Apparently these doctor loans are a great products for the banks and US Bank dealt with us professionally and managed to respond to our questions, give us status, and get our loan completed on time. Had we stayed with the amateurs at BoA we'd have lost this house! Wish I could make this 0 stars.

Bank of America is horrible and always has been. No one knows what they are doing. You will waste an enormous amount of time trying to explain over and over again and be transferred many times without a person knowing what they are doing. Unfortunately I still have one mortgage left with them....can't wait for the loan to be bought out by someone ...anyone else.

Dittos to DJM! It doesn't matter what branch you go to, I would never recommend Bank of America for a mortgage! We have suffered for over 2 years with a modified home loan through them. We never missed a payment, but because of their miss handling of our loan (which we finally just got closure to-2 1/2 years later), they ruined our credit, we received harrassing calls from a collection agency 1 to 6 times a day everyday except Sun. starting at 8am and after many calls to them and begging for help, our loan closed. We are grateful to have it and that we were one of the FEW twho got the loan, but we just found out that due to them not posting our payments for a year, we had 0 percent interest payed on our payments and had no mortgage interest to take off of our taxes. It is the first time we have ever had to pay taxes to both the Federal and State and it is the, admitted, fault of B of A and their incompetance. I recommend that you think twice before ever becoming involved with Bank of America. We had no choice since B of A bought out Countrywide which was our provider at the time. You have a choice. Think about it. Research the internet and find out for yourself. Save yourself the hassel, embarrasment and stress of dealing with them.

I strongly recommend not using Bank of America to do your home loan or using them for any of your other banking needs. My home loan was so mishandled from start to finish that it was hard to imagine anything else that could have gone wrong. I went with Bank of America (despite their lackluster reputation) because as my realtor always says she likes to use people who bring "added value to the table". Let me just say that the "added value" that was brought was not worth the hassle and frustration that I experienced during this entire process. I was told numerous times that I could close at any time but when it all came down to it, they were incorrect. They had failed to do their due diligence and things fell through the cracks at the last minute putting me in the horrible position of scrambling to find an alternate place to live and store my belongings while they cleaned up their mess. I was getting an FHA loan. In the beginning of this whole process, Bank of America never confirmed that the property I was looking to purchase was all clear with FHA and approved in the database. It turns out that in the FHA database the tract number doesn't match the name of the complex but rather simply lists the city. This was a problem for the underwriter of Bank of America. It was a problem that should have been resolved in the beginning of the loan process had someone bothered to look. Another property in the same complex sold in January of 2011 and it was FHA as well. Through some research on that property it was discovered that they too had issues with their loan but they managed to clear it up. What was so infuriating is that come to find out, it was done through Bank of America. This proves that the internal communication within Bank of America is extremely poor. When this name/tract issue came up in January with that sale, perhaps some communication should have happened to prevent any further issues with future sales in this complex. It sure would have been the intelligent way to go. By not taking steps to ensure this never happened to another client they have since gained a new client who can't wait to get out of Bank of America as quick as possible. I even took the time to go see the Bank of America team who was hard at work on my home loan. It appears they all leave early as no one was ever around when I stopped by. Through each mistake that was made, no apology was ever offered. Instead, I would receive emails making claims of how people were hard at work on the weekend trying to get my loan processed and pressure was being put on the people working on my loan to get it done as soon as possible. I was offered excuse after excuse as to each and every delay. They were moving their processing center from Aliso Viejo to Irvine, the underwriter went home early....on and on the excuses came. It only made matters worse. What happened next still seems unbelievable to me. An inappropriate action was taken. My loan processor went behind my back and contacted my apartment manager to see if he could buy me a few more days to stay even though I told him this wasn't an option. I had already discussed this with my apartment manager. This was a violation of my privacy. He had no right to do that. He was simply trying to buy himself more time so that Bank of America could fix the mess they themselves created. The home buying process is stressful enough on its own. What Bank of America put me through was unreal. I was treated so poorly and I do not wish this experience on anyone. Though he came with rave reviews, I was not fortunate enough to see these reviews proven. Therefore, I would not recommend Bradley Meyer at Bank of America for your home buying needs. Note: So many people were a part of this transaction that I do not have all their names. The only other names I have are the processor, Miguel Garcia and Frank Bassett the home loan manager. I would not recommend any of them.
