“We bought our tickets on line, parking wasn't too bad as we arrived at 9:30, parking cost was hourly @2.50. Line to get in got pretty long but we were in the beginning of it. I went straight to the pottery and put myself on the list, they had a cancellation and I got right in. I loved "throwing a bowl" it was so much fun, watched "Muffin" blow some glass, she was working a heart that was for a senior that her husband passed away and was provided some of the husbands ashes and added them to the glass, it was so beautiful. I will provide a picture of her card so you can check out her work. It was so awesome to watch this process. The hot cocoa was so delicious it had some extra cinnamon and was amazing. Lived looking around at the artists creations! Magic show and pictures with Santa. We plan to come every year and make it an annual seasonal trip. I recommend this event to anyone!”

“My husband and I were privileged to experience "A Christmas with Scrooge." It was a delightful performance in a charming theater. We look forward to attending many more shows in the future.”

“I came here with another organization yesterday and was very impressed. You can tell that a lot of effort and love was put into this place. There's such a large variety of native and edible plants and trees that were all over the property. One spot, you can find an apple tree and peach tree with some native sage, and another you can find an orange tree with a passionfruit vine nearby. The recently-opened Cafe had limited options during the time being, but it makes sense given that it's still winter and they cook with what they grow on site. The cauliflower soup and focaccia were very delicious and well-seasoned.The market seriously tickled my brain on how amazing everything looked. I got some soap and tomato passata. The soap smelt lovely, and the passata tasted very nice. The staff in the market are very friendly and helpful and recommended extremely delicious donuts from the laguna baking co. The prices are comparable to farmer's market prices, which tend to be on the higher end. However, after hearing how well-paid and compensated the farmers are, it's worth every penny. If you're a fan of local and sustainably-sourced food, along with ethical practices, then this is the place for you.”

“Not only are the staff extremely helpful and kind, the pricing is kind and there are plenty of treasures to find. There is always an ornate antique piece of furniture, some interesting art, and boutique clothing items. There always seems to be a selection of brand new items as well strategically placed at the front of the store. Seems like red-tagged nick-knacks are always 50%off. Shopping here will result in interesting finds and all for a great cause.”

“This review is long overdue! Christ Community Preschool has been one of the biggest blessings for our family over the last few years. This sweet, family-oriented preschool is filled with staff members who love Jesus and exude that Christ-centered love for our children daily. In the past two years, our oldest son has not only grown incredibly academically, but he has grown in emotional and spiritual maturity. He wakes up every morning excited to get ready for school! The directors and teachers are always visible and available, making the communication between the staff and parents exceptional. We are not only able to chat in person if needed at pick-up, but the use of the Playground app and daily picture updates makes it easy to stay in the loop of what is going on each day at school. The closed campus is safe and secure, and because of the smaller nature of CCP, it feels like my son is not only seen and known by his teachers but by the entire preschool staff. Thank you, Christ Community Preschool, for creating a safe, nurturing, and loving environment for our son!”

“So cute! Unfortunately we went as a rainy day activity on a Saturday and so did everyone else! So it was very busy. I will bring my daughter again when we come back to town. I get that it's a "musuem" but I don't love that you pay for every adult. Maybe 1 free adult with a child and pay for extra adults? Or adults a cheaper price. Just a thought. Anyways. You won't be sorry, that is a great place for younger kids and I highly recommend it!”

“I am a member of the Board of Directors at the OASIS Senior Center and chair the Greeters at the Front Desk. I have twenty regular Greeters and 20 substitutes. We work five days a week on three and a half hour shifts. OASIS is the most wonderful place to meet friends, enjoy all the monthly meetings, and all the different things that are available. We have a travel office that takes fabulous trips, day trips, weekend trips and overseas trips. Bridge groups, other games and a fitness center are to be enjoyed. We have "Elderly members there--but there are no OLD people"!! I'm proud to be associated with such a grand organization for all the resident of Newport Beach!!! Jean Naughton”

“I go to this Assistance League for women’s clothing, decor (see photo), and pots for my plants. They also have jewelry, shoes, purses, kids clothing, toys, dinnerware.4/5 stars because the store is small-ish and prices are sometimes $10+ which is a hint expensive for certain secondhand items. But I’ve also seen Anthropologie and originally expensive clothing for like $6 - $12, which I love.”

“I fostered for this organization for years until I had to move out of state. I also adopted one of my elderly foster Chihuahuas and had many wonderful years with him. That all being said, this organization is a wonderful rescue and they really care about the dogs first. The vetting system is very strict and people get upset when their home isn’t a good fit but it’s all about what’s best for the dog. TLRD is known to rescue pups that are in a horrible situations and usually come from trauma. That’s why TLRD is so careful by making sure that the dog is placed in the right forever home. I highly recommend this rescue for both fostering and adoption.”

“I am a cancer survivor. All the funds go to the Cancer Society and shared among all types of cancer. It is volunteers that do the hard work of sorting what is brought in. I discovered one day when I had dropped off somethings, a man was there, picking up the items the store did not need or want. He was taking them to another place where he said they are checked and sent over seas where needed.”
