Ridgecrest Park is a solid park overall, clean enough and usually not too crowded. The main path is good for a quick walk or jog, though there are some uneven bits near the hill. The kids area is decent, with a slide, and there is a big playground. Parking is easy, and the park is dog friendly. It is a nice place for a morning and/or evening stroll, with a fresh breeze all year round, especially in hot summer days. The park has a basketball court, tennis courts, soccer fields, and a sidewalk about a quarter mile all around, with outdoor gym equipment. There are shaded tables near the field area for birthday parties or events, and two bathrooms next to them that are surprisingly clean. Can get crowded and may need to park a bit down the street, but worth the visit. Overall, definitely recommended for anyone of all ages.
I love this park and have been walking my dog here instead of Laguna Woods due to frequent coyote attacks there. Have there been any attacks in this park?

A beautiful and peaceful park where kids can play and you can play some recreational sports.
