Visits require a pre-booked appointment, which ensures efficient entry and limits crowd size to a small, relaxed tour group. The staff and volunteers are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and informative, providing plenty of time to see the animals. The experience includes a video presentation and a walking tour that lasts over an hour, offering a valuable learning experience about the animals' plight and the sanctuary's work. While the stories of past mistreatment are sad, the atmosphere is one of hope and love.
