It's fine. Not great, but not terrible. I'm not sure exactly what people are complaining about. I just got gas, didn't engage any of the other services, so YMMV.

Had to give this place one star. But they don't deserve it. Mechanic shop is the worse. Older Hispanic guy. Which I'm Hispanic too. Was flirting with a lady. I asked if he can change my oil. Willing to pay up to $60 for service only. Which it's way too much. But he said no. I'm busy the lots are busy. Refused to help me. 10 minute job. I've worked at pepboys before. Worse service ever. Don't recommend. He told me to go somewhere else.

review is for the smog test. The check engine light was on unbeknownst to me with my crazy week. That is a sure-fire smog fail.The guy went ahead and smogged it even though he knew it was a sure fail just to get the money for the test. An ethical smog guy would have pointed it out and I would’ve taken it to the mechanic to get it fixed first!Don't get smogged there. The smog guy's a shyster.

Ned and his staff are amazing. The service and respect for the customer is unparalleled. I have used this service for over 5 years now. They are always honest and always reasonable and fair. Ned will treat you like a VIP while you wait for service to be complete and all cost are given to you upfront.

Ned and his crew are the best. I have been bringing my cars here for service and tires for the last 15 years or so. I have always been treated fairly. They have fixed everything right the first time. They are right at the corner of Altadena Drive and Lake Avenue.

I waited 3 months for the mechanic, Jack, to service my car. I was first told that it had to die to determine the issue. As it worsened, I called with the symptoms and was told he knew the part and would order it. The car died a couple months later; then, I was told he had to check it first and had changed his mind about the part-but didn't want me to have it towed there. Another month passed before I contacted Ned, the owner. He diagnosed it over the phone as an electrical problem that they didn't work on. I was disappointed after years of being a loyal customer.I contacted another shop, had the car towed there, and diagnosed that same day. It was a simple battery, alternator, ignition switch issue!

I took my car to be smogged a few weeks ago. I have never encountered such a rude business owner in all my life. His sense of entitlement dripped from every word he spoke. When he told me the price of the smog check I told him I wasn't interested and that I would go somewhere else. He said he would give me the same price I could get elsewhere and we ran the tests. Upon completion he said the test was one price and the certificate was another fee on top of that. Classic bait and switch. Never use this company.

I have a friend that lives on Lake right by this Chevron, which was the primary reason for me getting gas here. After several months now, I still insist that we meet at this location. Not only is it always super clean and stocked, but employees like Phil are always friendly and welcoming. I cannot emphasize enough how having amazing staff like Phil actually creates a desire to want to support a specific business! Personnel makes all the difference. On top of that, we're currently 2 months into the COVID lockdown and this is the ONLY gas station that will allow customers to use their restrooms. Every other one (even other Chevrons) will say they're out of order and post signs accordingly, yet you can sit there in your car and watch employees using them all the time. This is rather disrespectful for a public business and yet another big reason I only support this Chevron even though it's 11 miles from me. Thank you to everyone who helps make this location the essential stop for me and my friends! Take care!

Someone is using a credit card skimmer here to steal folks' credit and debit card numbers. I just had my debit card information stolen and used at a nearby location. The only place I've used my debit card in the area in the last two months has been this gas station. Otherwise this is a good gas station, but they need to keep a better eye on their pumps and suspicious activity.

Today was the first time in years that I've been to this place. I came in cause I needed 2 new tires and I received the best customer service ever by one of the of the mechanics. I will say this that when I first got arrived there was one employee who had real bad customer service but the person who had the best customer service his name is Ned he told my fiancé and I what was going on w/the tires I had on my car and he made a call right away and ordered me 2 new tires and said he was going to go and get them once we left. My fiancé and I came back and within 30 min my car was ready. So if you ever take your car here for work to be done ask for Ned he's very polite and has the best customer service hands down!! Thanx Ned for helping me today!! I'll definitely be back and allow you to work on my car again.

I haven't been here in awhile and I must say the auto techs are awesome! They give a thorough explanation on what service is needed based on car and milage . They are courteous ,friendly , and knowledgeable.
