Customer service is excellent, truck in good working order, etc. I have no idea why this is being marked closed. It is still open and available to the community.”
“Just walked right in to rent a car for the day and it was that easy. Good price and on that day they closed at 6 so it gave us enough time to go to Santa Monica and back. We got the Lexus hybrid and it was noice.”
“U-haul has to fix their reservation system, but Thriftee helped solve the problem. Mine was confirmed as 10am but when I arrived to pick it up the app suddenly said 11:45pm !! The location staff also had 11:45 in their system and suggested I must have booked incorrectly - even though it was all done via phone with a u-haul rep.The truck I needed for cross-town drop—off wouldn’t arrive for 4 hours and I had a whole staff of colleagues waiting on me to transport our lab equipment. The Thriftee folks did an amazing job getting me a 15’ truck that I would later drive back across town. Not fun in Los Angeles but we did the best with what we had. I cannot understand how a system can change a reservation so dramatically!”

“Giving it 4 instead of 5 just because of how expensive it was but other than that, they're a good group of people who are literally always there (when open), super helpful, cut my lock for me a few times when I forgot my keys. I left some stuff behind and they charged decently to discard the items for me, the move out paperwork was done before we were even halfway thru moving out so it was swift and smooth”
“Rented a cargo van at the Frogtown location- Ronald was EXTREMELY helpful and went above and beyond to make sure I had a great experience- He installed a phone holder since there wasn’t a screen navigation in the van and also an adapter so that I could listen to my phone ( music/ podcasts) while driving.
He was very friendly and accommodating and id certainly rent from here again.”

“I’ve used this spot 4 or 5 times in the past year to rent a U-haul, usually to transport my artwork. Came in clutch for a smog check once when picking up a truck. Dude is super nice, seems like he only has a handful of trucks/vans so it’s not like one of those big lots where you can find yourself waiting for a million years. I’m usually in and out in minutes. Totally my neighborhood U-Haul dealer. ?”

I've witnessed the rude and disrespectful behavior of ignorant people trying to rent vehicles from U-hual that think its okay to call someone names because they dont speak a foreign language or get mad when they follow store policy, the verbal abuse these employees have to endure is disgusting and the representation of professionalism they

“Budget gets 0 stars, but Doshi gets 5! Although Budget was extremely unhelpful, Doshi did everything he could to sort our their error and kept me informed regarding a rental van that never arrived. Even though I never got to rent from them, I'd rent with Doshi despite the terrible customer service from Budget itself. I hope Doshi opens his own rental company some day!”

That said, overall a good experience.
Tony the manager was easy to work with and helped me attach the trailer safely and securely to my vehicle.
I appreciate his professionalism and no nonsense attitude.
The trailer itself was a bit dusty on the inside and the latch was slightly rusted, but neither of those things really matter.
The trailer did what it was supposed to do, and only cost $35 for a 24 hour rental so overall I think this is the best deal for moving apartments, etc. if you have a vehicle with proper trailer hitch already”

I had a great experience. I called 5 minutes before arriving at the Uhaul and upon arrival, Avi had pulled my details already and was ready to go. He was very on it and got me into the van quickly and efficiently.
I got to drive one of their brand new vans too. Like 68mil on the odo. All other staff were polite and professional too.”
