About High Plateau Humane Society
The High Plateau Humane Society is an all volunteer 501 C3 nonprofit that operates the Second Chance Thrift Store to benefit the dogs and cats of Modoc county. We also sell discounted veterinary certificates to low income residents of Modoc County to help them spay/neuter and immunize their pets. We are an independent nonprofit that is not affiliated with the Humane Society of the United States. We adopt out cats from the Thrift Store property.
