“The shop owners are super nice ?. The store has a wide variety of alcoholic beverages, everything you could want. Most importantly, you can buy Pliny the Elder.”
“Always loved this place! Long overdue review. As a Brazilian I was always blessed to have lived a block away from Mr. Sousa and all the amazing treats and delicious food from my home country and Portugal. You can find almost everything you need from Brazil! Now I have to drive a very long way, but it is still absolutely worth it and a pleasure to see him and his lovely wife. Muito obrigado a vocês dois pelo excelente serviço e amizade ao longo dos anos meus amigos ?!”
“Best selection of wines and spirits and as a bonus you can find one of the most knowledgeable owners out there in the store. He happily and absolutely will take his time explaining and offering the best wine or spirit that matches your taste! A 100% go to!”
“I find it odd that I'm reviewing a little market, but this place is fantastic. Went here because whole foods was closed and I needed to pick up beers for a get together. Didn't expect much, but wow the craft beer selection fantastic and a super friendly owner. I love whole foods, but I probably won't be going to whole foods anymore for beers.”
“Absolutely love this place! If you’re looking to support a local business, this is the one. It’s a father-and-son team, and their energy is always uplifting and positive — they’ll turn your whole day around. They’re personable, hilarious, and completely honest. They even support another local business by selling ice cream made right here in the Bay Area (wish I could remember the name!). Easily 5 stars all the way.”
“This Total Wine and More is my favorite. The selection is amazing, and they regularly have wine tastings which are fantastic. We go almost every week on Friday or Saturday to try the wines they have out for tasting and choose a couple of bottles to take home. Last week Oliver was doing the tasting and he was awesome! We got to try several wines that he thought we would like, and we ended up taking 4 bottles home with us!
If you're not going to the tastings, you are missing out!”
“I went by to check out the place to see if they have an outdoor tasting area for guests. Not yet but hopefully soon. I bought my favorite wines one Sonoma Zin one red blend from Rutherford. My favorite CA Chardonnay and a Brut Sparkling Wine from Anderson Valley and a Pinot Noir from Willamette Valley. Everything is very well organized and I enjoyed discovering their wines. The staff are excellent and answered my questions about Brut vs other Sparklings/champagnes. I left the wine there because I was on a walk from home and picked it up on my way home. They have a lot of other countries wines too. Maybe next time!”
“You walk into the store and you're in awe because it is vast an extremely clean no clutter on the floor. And the service personnel are very friendly especially the store manager Jason.”
“I love Jack's 10/10 Toni and the rest of the business are great and provide solid customer service, every visit they ALWAYS got iced beverages for customers Great vibes and Reasonable prices, SJ's go-to guys”
“The owner is very nice, with a good selection of snacks and drinks, even imported Faygo! This is my go to liquor store after school or during the weekend when I have a chill weekend. The owner had cats that were very cute, please bring them back ??”
“Jagga’s Liquors in the legendary city of Fremont isn’t just a liquor store; it’s an experience. I’d like to take a moment to shout out the incredible nonchalant CEO, Dr. Jagga, for running such an iconic establishment.
Every time I walk into his store, Dr. Jagga greets me with his signature laid-back vibe, rocking a blindingly shiny Louis Vuitton belt that you could probably spot from space. And, of course, he always rolls up to the store in his immaculate Porsche—it’s so nice it makes the rest of us reconsider our TCs.
But the real showstopper? Dr. Jagga is perpetually surrounded by ABGs at the counter. Seriously, it’s like a scene out of a music video. They’re sipping bubble tea, giggling, and hyping him up as he casually manages his empire. Dr. Jagga somehow balances business mogul life and being the chillest guy you’ve ever met—to put it simply, a more nonchalant Tony Stark.
However, despite his entrepreneurial success, we’ve been trying to get in touch with him for a slightly more pressing matter: dinner at Pasha on Friday night. It’s meant to be a celebration of his liquor empire’s meteoric rise, and we’d love for him to join us. Dr. Jagga, if you’re reading this, we’d be honored if you could make it. Please let us know if you can join us at Pasha this Friday night—we're looking forward to celebrating with you!
Much love to Jagga’s Liquors and its CEO—10/10 would recommend, but maybe next time you can reply to a text, Dr. Jagga.
(P.S. Photo attached is a direct representation of the way Dr. Jagga handles business in a highly nonchalant manner.)”
“Excellent place! Never been there but, that place blew my mind away. I went because Eric Winter from the TV Show( The Rookie) was signing autographs and selling his line of Rum. I highly recommend it!!!”
“Love this place! We are from Texas and each time we come to San Jose…we always have to go here! Bert and Ruben are awesome! They remember us when we come in which is very impressive! We are Members of their Wine Club and receive the wine they select and sends it out once a quarter!! Always great selections! They treat you like family!Would Highly Highly recommend them to anyone!”
“I love this store! The staff is always very friendly and helpful. They have a wide variety for snacks and alcohol. I can usually find chamoy rim dip here for my beer!”
“Great store for the local beer offerings. All the best breweries from around the Bay, and the production dates are within a month or less from today, so very fresh. Big shout out to the manager/cashier who broke down the 4-pack of Fieldwork for me to enjoy more beers while in the area ??. 100% will be back”
“They have such fun stuff here! Foods, drinks and snacks from around the world! So much to look at and buy. If I want something unique to gift i always shop here.”

“Upscale grocery store, with hot take out from the deli, and full meals to take out, mains and sides separate, all kinds of nice things, it's a good looking store, a little crowded for maneuvering but I really like shopping there.”

“Nice neighborhood feel, Very nice collection of wine and scotch. Chilled beer ready to serve :) Best place for all alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages and snacks”
“What a fun and beautiful store! So many treasures in so many departments. A great place for holiday gift shopping or that something special for yourself!
The store is very neatly organized and festive for the holidays! And every single employee I encountered was friendly and cheerful and helpful and seemed genuinely happy to be working there!
I admittedly was drawn by their Golden Nutcracker promotion (which paid off as I found $20!), but will return for more great gifts!”
“Great staff who are friendly and knowledgable. They explained a lot about their different wines and made recommendations based on my preferences. I ended up joining their wine club because of how great of a time I had.”
“I see these guys every single day, They are timid and shy, of course I make them laugh and giggle, as I hand all my money over to them... They are cool people who are comfortable with my goofiness and we always seem to check out the Hottiez that work, next door. Overall great stuff, except for the ATM machine. Never works when you really, need it to !! ???”
“Raley’s in Fremont is a great place to shop with a wide variety of foods and drinks for every taste. One of the highlights is its full selection of wines and spirits, so you can always find the perfect choice depending on your preference. The store is clean, spacious, and well-organized, making shopping comfortable and convenient. Prices are reasonable, and overall, it’s a fantastic place to visit whenever you need quality groceries and beverages.”
“The perfect neighborhood store. The folks there are very kind and the owner has a great sense of humor, often joking and laughing with customers. I always leave the store smiling. They have anything you’d expect a corner store to have and the beer selection is better than any 7-11 out there. The owner offers to even order specific items you want but don’t see there. That’s a level of customer service you don’t see at stores much these days that’s for sure. Great spot.”

“Best in the West when it comes COLD drinks , hospitality, and always has the new products not seen in many places from snacks to drinks (21+). If they don't have what you want/need they'll make sure to have it by the next time you visit.”
“Great place to cash your check, although if your a first timer they are a little skeptical of the legitimacy of your check and may make you wait a day or two to clear, but once it does they'll have you in and out in no time.they also have a large selection of wine and liquor. Not to mention I won $500 on a $5 scratcher from there!”
“I love this location, I feel this is one of the very few stores left besides the one closer to foster city that is good. Love the variety of products, some items can be expensive but you find very unique items in jewelry and home decor. I enjoy the variety of internal food products and beverages.”
“Walking distance to where I stay at. And open to 12am. Prices are okay but it's a liquor store. You get what you get. No complaining. Plus the owner is sweet and cool. ?”
“A friend recommended this store and now it's my go to place! It's a little further than the spots by my house but honestly it's worth it! One of the best spots in the area because of their wide selection and their staff is super friendly and helpful when it comes to recommending something new! And a plus point for me is always their cleanliness!”
“This is a tiny convenience store hidden in the Alviso neighborhood, selling liquor, snacks and beverages, and groceries. I rarely come here, since each time I have in the past for basic stuff, like bread, they don't have such items. But not a big deal cuz they came through when I least expected it. I had gone to several lotto retailers with no luck, prior to my visit here on Monday. I was looking for some rare (monster themed) scratchers which are selling on ebay for three times more than what they're worth. Lo and behold, I found them here at the Marina Neighborhood Market which would be my last stop on my way home before giving up. I was ecstatic! Plus the staff got me to laugh with his playful comments seeing how excited I was about these tickets. They're probably not even winners, lol. But that's okay, I hit the jackpot just finding them here, so close to home when I had been searching far and wide.”
