“The perfect neighborhood store. The folks there are very kind and the owner has a great sense of humor, often joking and laughing with customers. I always leave the store smiling. They have anything you’d expect a corner store to have and the beer selection is better than any 7-11 out there. The owner offers to even order specific items you want but don’t see there. That’s a level of customer service you don’t see at stores much these days that’s for sure. Great spot.”

“To the personable dude working the counter last Friday night (10/21) at around 6:30p, thanks for being super cool and thanks for the great customer service! Before heading to dinner at Rice &Spoon next door (Favorite Vietnamese Spot!), we decided to make a pit stop into Bob's to pick up a handle for the night's festivities. When my hubster asked for a bottle of Jameson, the nice guy behind the counter asked, "Chilled? Or unchilled?" I had to check him and say what?...because we've never been asked that before! How awesome is that, that they sell CHILLED bottles of some fan favorites, and Jamo is one of them! I mean, who likes taking shots warm? Not I, said the fly. So this option of having a chilled bottle ready for purchase, is like royalty status in my book. Of course, we opted for the chilled and purchased the bottle, plus a couple lotto tickets and a super hipster high quality beanie- one that would find at some high end hipster store, totally legit for only $5! It seems that Bob's Liquor has it all. Talk 'bout one stop shop!”

“The go-to place in the East Bay to purchase craft beer. Been goin here for years. The staff is very knowledgeable and are genuinely interested in introducing me to good stuff that I've never tried before. I've never walked out of there without something new they recommend, and it is pretty much always fantastic. The taproom in the back is a nice touch.”
“I frequently visit Mountain View for business, and stay at the Hampton Inn next door. This is one of the first places I come to when I start my trips. Very convenient to pick up a bottle of wine, a few bottles of water and some snacks. The most common cashier that I encounter, who I assume is Sousa but have never asked his name, is always very friendly.”
“I frequent Los Altos Tasting room regularly. It is a nice, relaxing place to go to after a hard day at work. The wine is excellent, the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable especially Theo and Vince. Many times the owner, Benny, is there and will give you his insight on the different wines he is producing. I highly recommend this establishment.”

“Artisan has long been my favorite wine store in the bay because of the amazing quality and variety of their selection. But what prompted me to write this review was the phenomenal customer service from David on my most recent trip. I had a goal to learn more about French wine growing regions and wanted to assemble a case within a target budget to help with that goal. Despite the store being busy with multiple tasting events, David enthusiastically leaped up to help with our activity. The thought he put into each recommendation, the explanations he gave of what and why, and how well he met the objective and budget exceeded any expectations I had going in. Just a fantastic experience - David and the team really know their wine and are passionate about helping customers.”

“This place is Amazing! The food and drinks (wine) was fresh! They had truffle popcorn and charcuterie boards which is very Upscale if you know your foods! The price was awesome and very reasonable. The owner (Manuel Vasquez) and his staff was very hospitable. I will stop in everytime I am in California. I'm from Michigan and we need more Wine Bar's here. I absolutely loved the items mentioned above. My friend loved it also, even though he never heard of truffle and charcuterie. This Wine Bar also had great pizza's. Love this place!!!!”

I love that they label the country of origin via a country flag on the price label!I was in the market for a lot of pink stuff because I am hosting a Barbie party and this place didn't disappoint. “The owner is so friendly and polite. The staff was professional and courteous. The only thing that topped that was their pepperoni pizza and the watermelon margarita! It was amazing. They now host the pin trading event every 2nd Saturday of the month. It was so much fun, good friends and great food!”
“Great collection and good service. Some of their beers are super old (1+ year since canned) and that's a problem. The taste might hold for up to a year but beyond that it needs to be chucked and not sold for cheaper.. Minus 1 star for that.”

They contain variety of liquor, beer, groceries, and even department supplies like tools and so on. They even have the following --Tacqueria inside which serves authentic and fresh food. I love the Burritos and great variety of beer! I love this place! --Water Refill station. Bring your own bottles and you can refill them. --They have variety of frozen and canned foods. --They also have fresh produce like limes, tomato, avocados, garlic, and so on.”

Nice selection of craft beers on tap as well as a full bar and a full menu. “This is a tiny convenience store hidden in the Alviso neighborhood, selling liquor, snacks and beverages, and groceries. I rarely come here, since each time I have in the past for basic stuff, like bread, they don't have such items. But not a big deal cuz they came through when I least expected it. I had gone to several lotto retailers with no luck, prior to my visit here on Monday. I was looking for some rare (monster themed) scratchers which are selling on ebay for three times more than what they're worth. Lo and behold, I found them here at the Marina Neighborhood Market which would be my last stop on my way home before giving up. I was ecstatic! Plus the staff got me to laugh with his playful comments seeing how excited I was about these tickets. They're probably not even winners, lol. But that's okay, I hit the jackpot just finding them here, so close to home when I had been searching far and wide.”
