I have been using this site for a couple of months as a good friend sent it to me. I always order the right amount needed to get free shipping. I did look closely at the past orders and I have been getting charged for shipping even thought I meet the free shipping minimum. I did reach out to CS (email) and I hope that correct it. Not sure why this is happening. Overall I like the site and didn’t know they will match the price if found cheaper. Maybe that should be in the fine print too. If my shipping isn’t created I will go to another site as there are hundreds available.

Didn’t communicate that my shipping was pulled aside for months until I reached out (I thought I would wait since many reviews say shipping takes forever).
When I requested a refund they sent partial amount back. I had to get my credit card company involved to settle the case.
Very sly and dishonest. Taking my business elsewhere.

Lots of lousy reviews due to shipping, but when I started purchasing from them 6 months ago, their info stated that shipping was slow. Yes, I've had to wait 2 to 3 weeks for my shipment, but at the prices and quality offered, I am perfectly fine with this. ( I do have a nice variety of wine at my house so I can wait for additional bottles.) My biggest issue is with UPS not being able to provide an accurate delivery time.
I will continue to purchase and enjoy the descriptive of each wine. I do check prices via a quick Google search as sometimes they are not always the best price. All in all, I think this is a great way to purchase some quality wine.

I ordered many cases of wine during the last Marathon, thought I had purchased several really nice wines, large formats and even a 2001 cabernet. After waiting a few weeks to get the orders delivered, I contacted Last Bottle to find out when the wine would be shipped. After receiving a few emails over the week, I was told that all of the orders had been "lost in transit." All 16 orders? Very disappointing...I thought I had found a new source to fill my cellar, but it appears that Last Bottle sells wine, then creates reasons that they can't deliver.

Love checking them out for great bargains on wines that I'd otherwise not have access to on the East coast. Great customer service and the ability to get free shipping makes them a winner for me.

I stopped ordering from them years ago because of absurdly slow shipping (3-4 weeks). I left them and began shopping with one of their competitors who always ships the following business day of my order. I decided to try Last Bottle again in hopes that they corrected the slow shipping issue, but they haven’t. They immediately printed a shipping label but It’s been 8 days since my order with no movement. This will definitely be my last purchase from them…it’s just worth the aggravation of having to wait so long.

Have had no issues with Last Bottle. The wines are solid and unique. Shipping is fine. Prices are very fair. The narratives are bombastic, but amusing and are usually spot on.

Regrettably, my experience with Last Bottle Wines has been underwhelming, echoing the sentiments expressed by others. Having used their services on numerous occasions, I fear it may be the last time due to inconsistent shipping schedules and poor communication. Any cost savings I may have experienced are far outweighed by the time wasted attempting to obtain an order update.Moreover, I share the frustration of another reviewer regarding the daily offering of wines, only to face weeks of waiting for an order to arrive. Although I strive to support small businesses, a lack of fundamental customer service draws a clear line for me.

I really want to like Last Bottle but there communication and shipping is horrible.Ordered a few wines on December 8th as part of a marathon. They do tell you shipping times are prolonged during these special events....fine.On January 8th, fed ex created a label. Great! It's finally shipping literally one month after ordering. Then crickets...January 19th, I finally inquire...due to extreme cold they are holding wine. Ok fine....it's now January 28, the arctic blast has been gone for over a week...and still no updates.They're still selling daily bottles, are these shipping out same day as advertised? Who knows?? They don't communicate.Tons of other options to buy wine online these days.Tldr...52 days and counting to receive my order

I bought several bottles of wine from this merchant on Dec 7-9. As of Jan 21st my order is still listed as "pending shipment". 3 emails and a phone call unanswered. No response. This was my first purchase from this company, it will be my last.

Fun selection and good often very good value.Unfortunately, the customer service is a problem.I placed a large order for weather hold; now that the weather is ideal for shipping, I have sent 5 emails requesting to have my order shipped, and have received no response.By contrast, 2 other online retailers that I order from contacted me this week noting that the weather was ideal for shipping, and asked if I would like my shipments processed.I am less likely to order from Last Bottle due to this issue. For me, this is too big a purchase to be left in the dark for so long.

I've been a customer for a few years. Most of the wines I ordered were good with an exception of a few duds. The reason for my three star review has to do with shipping. I recently order a case of red on November 1, 2023. As of today, its in Indiana with no arrival date to New Jersey. Last Bottle is making it difficult to order wine in time for an scheduled event. If the wine is being sent via FedEx, why does it take over two weeks or more to arrive!?!

I began ordering wines from Last Bottle after I was referred by my brother/sister-in-laws as a way to find interesting and often hard to find wines at outstanding prices (mostly). The first few purchases went off without a hitch. But this last shipment/order from the last Marathon has not been good. Of the 3 shipments, I have only received one. Of the two not received, one says "Damaged-handling per shippers instructions, and the other only says "not picked up at shipper location" from 10/17/23.So, not sure what to do? NO response from Last Bottle Customer Service.
