Perfect budget place to stay when visiting the Disney parks. I normally prefer a bigger name place to sleep but knowing that I would only be in the room to sleep and shower I did opt for a more budget friendly option. The things I look for most in a place is parking (it must be free), location (must be walking distance), food (must provide food or be close to food), good reviews in general. This place fit the bill on on points. Free parking and plenty of it, nothing worse than a place having only 20 spots for a 50 room place. I had no issue finding a parking when I arrived at 5 pm. It is walking distance to the parks. It's only about a 10 min walk to downtown Disney, then 10 more to the park entrances (because you have to walk all the way through downtown disney). As for food, they do not have any, but there is a Denny's just a block away and for a more discerning palate there is a steakhouse the same distance in the opposite direction. Overall the reviews looked good, so as you can see I booked it.Check in was a piece of cake, no issues and no surprises. There is a small deposit required. There is an elevator for the second floor. There are vending machines in case you want to grab a drink to take into the parks. There is a pool, though I did not have time to check it out.The room was clean. Maid service is only every 3 days. This seems to be normal even for the big chain these days. Not a big deal, I asked for fresh towels and was provided them with no issues. As for the amenities.... included in the shower (those refillable pumps on the wall) is body gel, shampoo and conditioner. It's not great stuff, but at least you don't have to bring your own if you don't want to. There is small bar soap for the sink. Blow dryer on the wall. There is a small microwave and mini fridge. The a/c unit is easy to use and effective. The bed was comfy and there were 6 standard size pillows for the king bed. they weren't great, but there was a lot of them, lol. I had room 210 and it was near the elevator, you could hear it "ding" every time someone used it, but it was not super obnoxious or anything.Yes it is an older building as most of the motels in the area are. But it served it's purpose and I would stay there again.

It's a crashpad near Disneyland. The beds were tiny and dated, the walls are thin. Noises every night. It needs a big renovation.

In addition to the many positive comments by others, Alamo Inn Anaheim truly is a gem. l highly recommend staying here, I’d return in a heartbeat!Alamo is an affordable option for those going to Disneyland and/or other nearby attractions, who want friendly service with clean, safe and secure accommodations.Walk time from our room to Disneyland and Disney California Adventure main gates took 15 minutes. Walk time to Downtown Disney and security bag-check took 10 minutes. We stayed in a two double bed suite. Upon entry, the suite was visibly clean (shower/bath, toilet, sink were spotless, as were both beds and sheets). Beds were comfortable. The microwave and mini fridge were clean. Towels were thin, a bit rough, but clean. We stayed for 7 days, housekeeping cleaned twice; staff informed us in-advance when housekeeping would come. If you require anything aside from when housekeeping comes (e.g. toilet paper, towels, recycling or garbage disposal) simply ask the front desk, they were more than happy to accommodate. Other items in the room: hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, good-working air conditioner/heater combo unit.Booking online through Alamo’s website was quick, easy and cheaper than a third-party. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. Price was as stated, no hidden fees. WiFi was strong and reliable. Pool and hot tub were clean. On-site washer and dryer cost $2 per machine, both machines were clean and worked well. Ice machines were clean and in good working order. This isn’t a complaint, more of an FYI for sensitive sleepers, our unit was on the ground floor, we found the sound barrier wasn’t great. For example, we heard our neighbors above when they rolled their suitcases, and took a shower. We didn’t hear voices in adjoining rooms, only when people walked by our suite. Everyone seemed to be on a similar schedule, I assume others were also Disney goers, so it wasn’t loud or disruptive at inappropriate times (e.g. no noise past 11:00pm, or before 6:30am).Alamo Inn Anaheim is wonderful, from the helpful, welcoming staff, to the comfy beds and clean rooms, this place is great. Thank you very much to Alamo Inn for making our stay such a wonderful experience, keep up the fantastic work, and I hope to see you all again in the future!P.S. affordable grocery store is just a 15 minute walk away, Food4Less. Also, several popular restaurants are only a 15-20 minute walk away (Bubba Gump Shrimp, P.F. Chang’s, Cheesecake Factory).Rooms: Clean, recently updated, comfortable, safe and secure.Nearby activities: Disneyland. Knott’s Berry Farm. Popular restaurants.Safety: Clerk appears to be on-site 24/7. Consistent staff.Walkability: 15 minutes to Disneyland and DCA main gates. 10 minutes to Downtown Disney.

I was a little hesitant to reserve a motel, but I was trying to save money. I chose the Alamo after researching other motels near Disneyland because of the reviews. And let me tell you they did not disappoint. Everything about this place was just right. The customer service at check-in., the rooms were clean and everything was just easy. I definitely enjoyed my stay here and will be back! I was able to park right in front of the motel room and felt safe. This trip was a solo trip so I wanted to make sure I was going to be able to sleep with some peace of mind and I did.

Rooms were great! Spacious! Bathroom was nicely remodeled! Price was great! Got it on sale with the hopper app. The walk was about 15 mins to park through downtown Disney. Staff was nice! I wish there was breakfast but it’s ok. Close to Dennys and little travel store. Parking was free which I loved! No coffee to stop on the way to the park so keep that in mind. We had stayed in the family suit and another time in 2 queen beds room. Both great. Only thing I would say is bring a fan in the summer. The air conditioners suck.. pool was good though.

I have used this motel three times. It is a short walk to Disneyland. My only suggestion is to replenish the coffee each day so I do not have Front Desk. Also a channel guide for the TV would be helpful. You can get one at the front desk.

The husband and I stayed at Alamo on a short Disney vacation, and it was great! We just needed a place with parking that was walkable to the park and this place delivered. The room and bed were comfortable enough. It was the perfect place to crash for a couple nights at Disney.

Such a cute and cozy motel! We stay here occasionally when visiting The Mouse and have never had a bad experience. Rooms are clean, water is hot, staff is friendly, and they let you keep your car in the lot until ~late on the day of checkout. For those wondering exactly how close it is to Disneyland, it's a ~10 minute walk to Downtown Disney. If you're OK not staying in a large chain and dig boutique- style accommodations, Alamo's a solid choice

Easy walk to the convention center, only 1 intersection. Very happy I stayed here, if you book online directly from their website, you’ll probably find a great deal like I did. Checking in and out was very easy, everyone I interacted with including cleaning staff was friendly. Very large spacious rooms, clean. Cute chairs outside my room in the 2nd floor. Toiletries provided pretty good. Soap smells really good. Bathroom sink water was slightly on the “hard” side but not a big deal for me. Beds are firm, which may work better for others. There are multiple ice machines and fairly priced vending machines which was a nice added plus.

Clean rooms. Tastefully appointed with thoughtful amenities. They have done some smart things to keep their costs down. Easy walk to Disney. Great way to do Disney on a budget.

My accessible room #109 was clean, with nice shampoo, conditoner and body wash. The pool was pristine and very clear water. The hot tub was hot and under a gazebo. The front desk staff was nice and professional. The grounds were pretty, with alot of trees, ivy and flowers. My only minor complaint would be there is no table or desk in my room, and that made it difficult to eat my steak dinner.Tip....If you go outside around 9:25 and stand in front of the Dennys restaurant one block away, you can enjoy the Disneyland Firework show.Would I return?Yes!
