SCAMMERS!!! CLAIMING FALSE DAMAGES!!!Disgusting.We rented a car. Months ago. Returned it in the condition we rented it.I just received a claim on a car I rented for one day nov3/23 The date on the mail was Feb 13 and it just arrive March 8.$606 dollars damage.That’s just under $820 Canadian.The car was in perfect condition when we returned it aside from cracker crumbs in the back.

Car rental process went ok and vehicles were fine. We rented two cars for our family to visit extended family for dinner during our trip to Disney. When we were checking out two days later, we realized that our grandson’s car seat was missing and that we inadvertently left it in the backseat of one of the rental cars. When I called Avis, they said they had a whole room filled with car seats and we would need to come down and just look for it. My son-in-law was able to get there and find the car seat before having to leave for their flight home. In this situation, the mistake of leaving the car seat was definitely ours. However, all it would have taken was one employee to look up our contact information on the rental agreement and make a courtesy call when they were cleaning out the car and removed the car seat. From a customer service standpoint I was extremely disappointed.

Excellent place to rent vehicles, rent one for 12 people and the vehicle is new, clean and very comfortable. The staff was friendly and efficient in assisting us.

Systems are antiquated. In Australia it’s virtually paperless. Also in Australia licenses are starting to be carried on mobile phones. Having to need a physical card for license or card holding is outdated.Also your returns at LAX was very poor. We were told to disembark our cars in the driveway because there were cars blocking the way. We then had to cross the car park with 2 kids and 6 bags of luggage plus backpacks with no assist. Just a smart alec remark of well you can’t get closer today can you. Then the bus driver to the terminals told us to get off at terminal 2 when it should have been terminal 4. More unnecessary walking for already tired kids cause it was late in the evening. Very very poor form from the LAX team.Also the child seats were old beyond anything that would legally pass any standards. The hiring team also didn’t even understand the legal requirements for road seat restraints in their own state.We were also charged more than what we had been quoted online by more than 20% (approximately 30USD.) which we only realised after checking the emails upon returning the vehicle.

Avis assigned me a car for the price listed, which was better than my last experience at Hertz. The desk agent was very accommodating to switch me from 2- door to 4-door

Terrible! Avoid if possible! Unexplained charges even after prepaying. We only use Budget and this has been the absolute WORST ever!

At this location close to Disneyland, I had a very easy rental experience. I talked with Chris (Avis Rep, maybe branch manager and if not he should be), a couple of days before renting a vehicle from this branch. He was just as helpful and accommodating in person as he was on the telephone. I am from Canada, with a Canadian driver’s licence and I thought that I would probably have to jump through a bunch of hoops, but that wasn’t the case. The initial rental and return process was “easy peasy”. Will I be a returning customer here or at another Avis location,… that’s a Big Yes.

Avis has been the worse rental I have ever had. Problem after problem and no help from customer service. I had a rental to pick up and when I got there they had closed. Then Uber to another location which customer service transferred me to and they had no cars. Then to Uber again to the 3 location to be told it would cost more at that location. I understand not everyone likes there jobs but Avis employees really do show it in all ways possible

Everything was great until I went to return the vehicle. Place closes at 2, my rental was due back at 2pm. I arrived at 155, and by the time the two customers ahead of me had finished parking in their tiny cramped single lane car park, it was 201 by the time I walked into the office.The grumpy old white guy said no after hour returns and pointed to a printed sign on the door. I tried explaining to him that I got here and was delayed in the car park etc. He didn't want to hear any reasons, had a go at me saying he had things to do etc.Luckily another staff member sorted it out, but left a very bitter taste.

Very poor customer service. Will charge you for another day if you’re even a couple minutes late. Staff refuses to smile or even look you in the eyes. I’m sure they are tired of all this Disney customers, but what do you expect, you’re in a tourist area.

I was expecting a better experience because I was not renting from a low cost company and there is no difference using Avis.The car felt dirty, with a greasy windshield and the fuel tank was not full. On the contact said 6/8 of gas but it was 5/8 of gas and I needed to stop for gas right after renting it for my road trip.

It was a Saturday afternoon need. The other rental companies was closed Saturday afternoon. Avis was open later. That was a big help. Also a really good price!
