In short, Uly and the guys at Prestige were patient in listening to my needs for my vehicle and specific services requested. They were clear on timeline and cost. And flexible when I opted for additional work mid-project expanding the scope of the original work order.
The team there did a great job and I’m very happy with the results. Finding a shop that does good work at a fair price has been extremely difficult the last few years. The guys at Prestige are the exception and do great work at a very fair price.
The longer story: Nearly two years ago I was rear-ended in traffic in my 1997 4Runner. There was body damage to the rear cargo area floorboards, the rear hatch door, and the rear bumper. The impact pushed in part of the lower rear corner of the vehicle body.
Originally I took my 4Runner to a shop down the street from Prestige (one that has changed names/ownership in the last couple years and has a few poor reviews similar to my bad experience). That other shop was rude, condescending, and all around unprofessional which led me to wait on repairs.
After spending time to source the correct color parts from local junkyards I was left trying to find a shop willing to do repairs using parts I supplied. Prestige had no problem with me “only needing bodywork” to pull the car straight, and with me supplying the parts the I already sourced.
In a couple days the body was straightened to a point that was close enough to normal without going overboard in labor-needed or additional cost for what ultimately would be diminishing returns. When some repainting of the corner of fender was needed, I spoke with Prestige about also expanding the overall project to include repairing sun damage to the clear coat around the sunroof. Prestige did a full roof paint job bringing the 27 year old roof back to looking new.
The team at Prestige fixed and repaired in 10 days what I had been putting off for nearly two years. And they did it without running me around, misleading or BSing me on labor required, nor treating me like I’m inconveniencing them with such a small overall project. I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone needing work.”
