The food was so salty, overcooked, and hard, and taro looked like they were taro from two weeks ago. The most nastiest Polynesian food I’ve ever tasted. Wasted my money and my time here. I wish the one on Garden Grove Blvd has cooked food on week days.

I really would give this place a five but honestly I ran across some issues here. There was a time when the food was great but however recently that wasn't the case. The lamb tasted old, the taro looked like it had been over cooked as if what was not sold was being reheated, I gave this place a three because the people who work there are always friendly and the cans of pisupo comes in clutch when looking to buy but the food is a hit or miss so you got to try at your own risk.

Unfortunately, the hot and ready food has gone down hill. I came here today and I couldn't stomach most of my plate. I got the lunch special with Turkey tail. Just watch the video and I'll say no more.

Food poisoning items sold here. Brother suffered 3 days from food poisoning. Consider this your death warning ⚠️ Do not spend a penny here. You will be on the brink of death. Make the drive to Poasa’s in Carson. $40 worth of pig sty food (Matai plate) combo plate, smnslice of taro, sm fai’ai Pilikaki, sm (nasty) sapasui. Overpriced. Food looked as if it sat under warmers overnight. Faalifu for taro was same color of taro, purple. Povi color, crusty maroon swimming in dark green oil. Dusty merch, no pride/integrity in their service/business. Faamolemole, se’i fai ma se alofa & le fautauta. Store owners need to be ashamed & put behind bars. Sad!! E faanoanoa lava e faasilasila atu…?

Great place to get a plate. The Kalo and the palusami is a must! Sometimes they also have other island products here.

Food: Unless you are absolutely dying for Samoan food...DO NOT SPEND A PENNY HERE. You will be on the brink of death. Make the drive to Poasa's in Carson. My brother & I bought food here, (Matai plate) he was a few inches from being six feet underground! He suffered from food poisoning for 3 days. Food looked as if it sat under the warm lights overnight. The faalifu for the taro was the same color of the taro...purple! Povi color was crusty maroon. They do not serve palusami. WTH? Service: Female came to the front with a mouthful. Cordial, yet no shame of selling old food. No integrity & no heart for their customers. Ambiance: Sparse on merchandise. Dusty items on shelves. Out of date Pule tasi's. To be honest, the health department should be notified, and store owners put behind bars. Faamolemole, Se'i fai ma se alofa ma le faautauta!

This store no longer carries taro leaves (luau leaves). They should start carrying it again even on a limited basis, like once a month.
