It's definitely a hidden gem and I highly recommend this place. I'm a home baker but perusing through the aisles, seeing all the equipment, makes you feel like you're a professional chef. Gave me a lot of great ideas for baking more efficiently. No one came to help me when I was shopping but I didn't need help, and I'm glad they left me alone to do my thing. I'm going here again for sure! Prices were reasonable. Great experience

Everyone was super helpful!! I love this place!! Way better than Amazon!! It may prove to be a little dangerous, though! I have my eyes set on a blender and a few other things. Minutes from my office. I will be back!!!

Racist Caucasian sales associate was incredibly discriminatory towards my special needs child. The rest of the individuals were nice but this guy was ridiculous. He physically touched my son by placing his hands in him. Reported to HR and they were not very helpful. They didn't see anything wrong. Horrible administration!

Imagine driving 30 minutes to pick up an item you placed online and receiving the worse possible service?Welp, that’s exactly what happened. For my shopping convenience, I decided to shop online for store pick up. When I arrived to the store I parked in the designated curbside pick up area. Where there is clearly a sign that says to call upon arrival. So I did as the sign suggested. The man who answered the phone was so rude questioning whether i even received an email to confirm my order was ready or why I was there. Well of course!! This isn’t my first time and sure enough this will be my last time bringing my business to this location. He said that they don’t do curbside pick up, when I told him I was parked right outside in the designated spots, he said he wasn’t going to come out. So what is the point of designated curbside pick up if apparently they don’t offer it? Or did this man not want to go outside?

Scam artists here, always trying to find a way to keep your money. Doesn't work/do as advertised Sorry 30% restocking fee How about f you chefs toys. Worthless pieces of scat. Action sales in Irvine or even restaurant Depot is worth more than this dump... Response to chefs toys from their response: Your machine said cooked oats, it did not, I returned it, then you claimed I did it wrong and there is a 30% restocking fee... Great business model losers. Get bent when I call the guy out on it too... Oh I'll make oats myself and see if it really works. I said get, I'll go get them and we can cook them together... He said no I was wrong and he would do it himself. F you guy. Not only was my first experience with you guys 5 years ago based on a racist employee calling his co workers derogatory slang towards Hispanics, just 2 years ago I was told I couldn't get a refund for an item that didn't heat, that I HAD to get it repaired by an authorized outlet, then was told you could exchange it, but by that time I didn't want the oven, it was trash. I actually had to bring in con air corporate office to tell you guys to give a full refund... Your business practices are such trash, and I am tired of pretending like they are not... So don't come at me with your BS replies trying to make me look like a disgruntled customer and you tried to do right...

Chefs' Toys is highly dangerous. There are certain stores that have inventories that seem to be able to pull the savings out of your bank account like a pickpocket in a tourist area of Paris. Willams Sonoma, Sur La Table, Cortina's Italian Market, and -- yes -- Chefs' Toys all seem to be able to make me pull out my wallet, throw it at their staff, and beg for them to make me penniless. It is embarrassing, really. If I were asked to describe Chefs' Toys to someone that had never been I guess I would say it is what you would get if Williams Sonoma left the domestic space and went all-in on industrial kitchen equipment. Don't get me wrong: Chefs' Toys has all the brand names you would want but rather than Kitchen Aid, OXO, and Breville you get Viking, Wolf, and Victorinox. If your favorite color combination in a kitchen is Stainless Steel and heavy grade white plastic Chefs' Toys is your mecca. Pick up what I am putting down? My father desperately needs new kitchen knives whether or not he knows it and I wanted to get him some new steel that would last as long as he will, look great for ages, and -- most importantly -- become his favorite thing to reach for in the kitchen. If that combination doesn't scream Global Chromova 18 knives I don't know what does. An 8-inch Chef and a 4-inch Pairing to be exact. On sale, please. I found Global right where I expected them - between Forschner and Wüsthof. Then I found a Boos Block. Then a large plastic cutting board. Okay, truth be told it was 4 large cutting boards (you can't have cross-contamination, right?). Then blade edge guards because you want to protect the investment. And then a magnificent 4-burner industrial Wolf range unit and matching cold case freezer with a deep dryer to boot. What about a soda dispenser? This is how it all starts at Chefs' Toys. You walk in to get a knife sharpened and leave with a 40% stake in the Hillstone Restaurant Group. And... I love them for it. I had to deduct one star because I do regularly find better prices elsewhere on specific products but they know I will be back within months.

Most of the time I call to speak with someone they just point me online. If I wanted to find things online without speaking with someone I would. I just got off the phone with a representative, he said he was sending me information to my email. Made me repeat it 5 times because he said he wanted to make sure it was correct. Never received an email. When I called back 1 hour later. They all said they had not spoken to anyone on the phone about glassware. Hmm I called the same number. I asked again for it to be sent. The man tells me to look it up online, then proceeds to list different brands and then hangs up. Amazing, love how I just want to buy things from this store.Doug is the only person to deal with if you actually need assistance.

Supplies for small chefs Bigger size chefs must pay more wait more and order online. Not very convenient but then I guess there's not a lot of plus size chefs in the world
