a friend of mine took me here for dinner since its next door to our office, I was expecting a great experience but it wasn't great at all! the lady taking my order was very rude and seem bothered by me asking questions about the menu items like I was supposed to know everything about persian food (I'm Mexican) lol I clearly told her it was my first time there, of course the order was wrong because she was in a hurry to take the order and go do nothing by the cash register, never came back to check on our table if food was ok or if we needed anything, food was good to be honest but that doesn't matter when they make you feel unwelcome, she only came back to give us our bill (about 100 for 3 plates and 3 drinks) I was upset for the experience but I still tip 20% since i was in the industry for many many years I believe in supporting local , family owned restaurants, It wasn't till the day after when i was about to throw away the receipt that i saw a charge for 18% tip already added to the bill, for a table of 3 ?? that is straight THEFT!!! nowhere in the restaurant says that they add gratuity to ALL checks, so not only it was a BAD experience but i end up tipping almost 40 dollars to the rude lady! lol I was going to go back and talk to them but i know they do this often and won't accept they are stealing from customers so i'll let Karma take care of that, this could be a place to have lunch and dinner often for me and all my coworkers but obviously I will never go back to this place.

Been coming here for many years for both fine in and takeout at the current and previous location. Consistent meal quality over the years. Friendly service. My only complaint is sometimes there's only one small grilled tomato when is small, one would expect two.

This is my go to Persian food. After they closed their previous location, I didn't know they reopened in Anaheim. Great food and service.

Unfortunately, whether you like the food or not, the experience that you get from the staff and the service leaves an unsatisfying taste in your mouth. Hatam could have a lot of potential if they were a little more professional and this can easily be done.

Terrible service. food was so bad. I literally had the saddest garden salad ever. they had a sit next to where the waitresses come out from and they.kept on pumping into my husband's chair.

If you're trying to get ripped off and get fed rice with a few pieces of chicken/meat. This is the place for you. Oh also, don't forget to save an extra 2.99 for each cup of garlic sauce they give you. Also expect to wait 30 mins for a water refill. Never going back.

I have visited Hatam for to-go orders, since moving to Orange County about a year ago. Their food has been outstanding. Wonderful people behind the counter. We have not dined in, yet. All take out so far. If you are looking for tasty Persian cuisine in Anaheim, Hatam should be on your list!

I ordered food for 55 people for a celebration i had. Everything went great they arrived on time and food comes with the little heaters so everything was warm. Great place to order for catering and to eat.

If you like Persian food this is the place to go. Me and my family love the beef kabob they literally make it perfect. The rice is always so fluffy and delicious. Ambiance is not bad, and the service is always great even when they are busy! Must have!!!

I always craves Mediterranean food and this is my go to place. Very good service and have lots of place to sit. Chicken barg is on of my favorite and lamb shank.

I ordered from Hatam for my friend's birthday party. It was a hit! Everyone loved the food. I talked to Housein who talked me through the best foods to get and how many of each order for my guests. He was incredibly helpful and the food was amazing. We got the Fesenjon, yoghurt dip with scallions, chicken and beef koobideh, hummus, and eggplant dish. Everything was delicious, and the Fesenjon was the best I've ever had. Thank you everyone at Hatam!

We ate at Hatam restaurant a few days ago with our guests. The food was great, waiting staff, and customer service was excellant. And the atmosphere was friendly. Will go there again.
