Grumpy old man working the pick up counter. Canceled my order because it didn't feel like picking it

Cathy Grimes has assisted me in resolving issues that came up with our purchase. It involved cancellation, purchases, credit card adjustments, delivery schedules changes, and more. She was very pleasant and cares about Home Depot clients. Lastly, her professionalism was exceptional.

We love a good Home Depot Super Store! They usually have about everything you might need at this location.

It doesn't surprise me that each Home Depot would rate differently. Definitely the people who work there (or lack of people) affects your rating. The one I went to is in Anaheim Hills and it's large and staffed accordingly.

Well at first i’d complain about the wait but im understanding and aware it gets busy so i can just be patient. My real review is a shout out to john.I was waiting for wood for about half an hour.I saw john in the back left and i became ready for a cut on the wood i selected but john had to get the forklift for someone and drive it.He literally was non stop busy.Someone came up to him and kept asking if he got his review about him but john gave no care for it. He already was assisting me and was just focused on working, told the customer politely to confirm with service. This man worked through and assisted to cut my wood slant and came there to WORK.Just impressed by his dedication and determination.Other than this, he asked to help him carry my wood out the way. He said thank you and i appreciated the decency to say thanks and be helpful. Someone else needs to be certified or also assist. No excuse for low staff. john looked more busy than cashiers and managers combined.

A lady employee chased running after me yelling: "not an exit! not an exit!". I live 2 miles away and have been using this store for many years. This was always an exit before. If it does not open automatically, you just pull on the door gently, and the motor will start retracting. Not a big deal. She was still saying something as I left the store....Clearly I do not want to exit a large warehouse store at a different location from I parked the car and walk exposed outside when the temperature outside is 97 degree and the sun is beating down on me.And another thing, customer service is down in this Anaheim Hills/Pullman St store. I used to be obsessed with home improvement projects maybe 1 year ago, and when I was shopping there, and employees were asking me if I needed some help. Nowadays, I have just spent maybe half an hour there, no crowd, but nobody came to ask me if I need help, no employees care. Could not find what I wanted. So I just left. They do seem to be chatting and laughing happily in the isles and having a jolly good party time.It is still a store I love to go to. Hence my 3 stars...

I walked in the store looking for a shower faucet set. I was really confused and overwhelmed with the large selection of many items. I needed a set of faucet for a stand in shower but i was confused to find that the set that i liked had a spout for a tub i thought this wouldn't work ? A Home Depot employee Ehab noticed that i needed help and proceeded to ask me some questions. He then directed me to the right selection of faucets. He then explained that i can still use the set that i initially liked and not have to use the tub spout. The tub spout can be closed shut at the valve. Ehab was knowledgeable , helpful, and professional. This made my trip much easier and much less stressful. I ended up buying the faucet set. I can't wait for it to be installed.

Their plants are overpriced. Chlorine is crazy pricey and everything is locked up to prevent theft. No more sales..Not fun to go here anymore.

Big store, wide aisles, bright lights and a large selection of household items to suit individual needs.

Home Depot has become obsessed with theft protection at the expense of customer service. Everything is locked up and it's very hard to find someone to open up the cages. On a typical Saturday recently, there were three or four customers standing in the tools area for 15 to 20 minutes waiting for someone to open the cages . The employees seem less and less knowledgeable. There are a few who seem to know what they are doing and others who seem way out of their depth even within their own department. I give them two stars because they still have a good selection, but you're on your own trying to figure out what the right thing is to buy. Don't count on them to be able to give you good advice.

I visit many Home Depots throughout so cal many times a week for my business. This location is "super" so they carry some items that other locations don't which is great. The staff there are mostly helpful/friendly but every once in a while I'll run into a staff member who is obviously not happy to be working there. Hope customer service can improve so customers feel like we are being helped instead of feeling like we are wasting their time.

I have visited this store a few times and although I didn’t have a bad experience on first visit, I witnessed another customer being treated very poorly at the customer service desk. Didn’t think much of it until I visited another day, and I received very poor customer service from different employee. And my 3rd visit was not pleasant either, as I was frustrated by going back and forth with another employee. I would like to point out that this is a Super Store, and this level of customer service is absolutely unacceptable. I felt like there was a clear lack of training that caused consistent friction between employees and customers. I even went as far as trying to find a manager to make them aware of how the store could be getting a bad reputation because of a few employees with bad attitude, but to my surprise, I couldn’t even find someone who knew who was in charge that day, and didn’t even make the effort to find out…hope the Home Depot cares enough to look deeper into what’s going on at this store.
