I played 4 years of College baseball. I know pitching machines.I have an alumni game in a few weeks. Thought I would start getting some early swings in to find the sweet spot again. I read a review about how the surroundings were and how the machines were erratic. Only the latter was of concern to me. Whoa...I was not prepared for the Skid row experience. A homeless lady was standing in front of the cages near the street with her top half off. Waving her arms and yelling at the passing cars. Her breasts were exposed causing passing cars to honk. I should have taken this as a sign and leave but I am a glutton for punishment. I entered to find you get 8 pitches for 1.25....yes not a typo..Only 8 pitches for 1.25.I suppose it would have been worth it if the pitching was in the strike zone. Definitely more high pitches than should be tolerated for that price. Bottom line...NOPE...never, ever visit this place.

Horrible customer service. This place has the worst pitching machines I have ever seen. As a baseball player who has played for forty years I can honestly say that you are way better off avoiding this place. Hookers and homeless people live in the parking lot soliciting the kids. Drug dealers trying to sell drugs before you enter. If you manage to make it inside you are going to pay 1.25 for 8 pitches. 6 of those pitches will be unhittable. You are better off going to the park and do soft toss. It's free and you will get way better swings. Did I mention that the customer service is terrible here. On the plus side you will probably catch syphilis if you use the restroom here.

Great park with many dogs come here regularly. Park is well maintained with grassy area and seats available. Many dog owners enjoy socializing with others.

Clean, polite, fun batting cages. Decently priced, and staff is very easy going. Kids got batting gloves and they loved them, great variety. Only thing, the directions tell you it's across the street? Not sure why?

Great batting cages with lots of speed options for both baseball and softball. Had an issue with the 50mph softball cage, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Would definitely go back.

It was so awesome. My boys had so much fun. It wasn't packed. My boys got off the 40 and 50 mph cages. But the workers that were there are very kind and assisted us with answers and were very patient. Nice place.

Took my boy there to get some work in before his baseball tryouts he loves this place. I had to get some work in to the 80 & 90mph we're exactly what we needed !

Super nice little spot. My son had never been to a batting cage before and this place didn't disappoint. Went twice while visiting California and we'll definitely come back next trip.

Good place some of the machines throw low. They let you borrow bats and helmets. Balls may dent or break bats.

Pretty janky no-one tells you and there are NO SIGNS that state 1 TOKEN Per session for 8 pitches , my kids were dumping 5 coins in the machine thinking they're gonna get 40 pitches only got 8 burned thru 120 tokens ($100) in 30min with minimal pitches certainty nowhere near the 960 pitches I paid for

I love coin-ran batting cages! We tend to come here anytime we're in the Anaheim area bc it's quick, fun, and affordable. I got 30 tokens for 30 bucks and since we were visiting, we had to borrow bats. They did have an array of bats. I asked for a 30 inch drop 10, which they had, a 32 and a 34... however, I didn't specify the weight for those bats and holy crap balls- they gave me a 32/29! I didn't expect that. Maybe check the weight if you're particular about your bat size. I ended up using my kid's bat. In the past (pre-pandemic) we only saw the tiny parking lot out front, but this time we saw a sign that said there was additional parking in the back and parking was ample out there. The guys working were polite and informative. I'm unsure of the etiquette here though. When I'm at Scandia we use the cage until we run out of tokens. It seemed like there was a "stop and take turns" vibe this time around. I didn't like that. My kid and I tried the 40mph cage and felt the need to get out when a man and his sons stood there waiting for us to finish up- which he verbalized aloud. I would have gladly spent all my tokens there, but I'm nice and his kids seemed like they needed the practice more than us. My family of 4 opted to share a 50mph cage to ourselves until we were done. I feel like 4 people sharing one cage was appropriate. I believe the pitches went from as slow as 40-90mph. You only get 8 pitches per token and some pitches are wild af and to that, you just need to sigh and keep it pushing.

I used to go here for fun in my 20s and now I'm in my 40s taking my son here for extra batting practice. Place is chill and affordable. Machines work great. I live in Irvine and it's worth the drive. Hoping they'll still be around for my grandkids.

Nothing has changed much from when I was a kid...great place for hitting some balls in a simple environment.
