My two children have been attending ICS for about 2 years now. My oldest only attends summer day camp, and he loves it. Summer camp is full off-site field trips to Sky Zone, Cinema City, Adventure City, roller skating, Johnny's Incredible Pizza, etc. ICS also has a vending machine the kids visit, and you can set a daily spending limit. I had such a positive experience, I decided to enroll my 18 month old in their Preschool program. There's always fun activities going on every week: Italian Ice day, Pizza Hut day, water days during the summer, holiday themed parties, the annual Fun Run, etc. As a full-time working mom, ICS makes life so much easier for me... preschool tuition includes breakfast and an afternoon snack, and for just $4 extra a day I can get my little a hot lunch. The school is open from 6:30 am - 6 pm, so you are covered if you need before and after care. ICS uses an app for communication and attendance in addition to constant e-mail updates and reminders. I live in Irvine and I believe sending my children here is worth the commute. I feel ICS is a safe, fun and nurturing environment.

What an amazing and beautiful school. Our child has been with them since preschool, and I cannot even begin to list all of the amazing moments, experiences (both fun and educational) that we have been a part of over the last 5 years. Smart, caring, and dedicate staff are abundant at this organization. If you are looking for a school that provides one on one attention while providing a community of amazing people for your child, look no further!

After Thais bad experience with the new principal and the former principal, we were promised that our son would get help to catch up with his clases after being home schooled for 2 years. Once we paid the registration fee we get the big news that our son is going to be in the same grade again because they don’t have the help he needs to be able to get up to date with his reading. They didn’t say anything before receiving our money, and now that we want to transfer him to a school that he is going to get help we can’t get our almost $1000 back. If you’re going to bring your children here think about it because they probably won’t get academic help they need it’s all promises that are never kept. You will hear what you want to hear, to receive your money, once they do, things change. Some of the personal I don’t want to judge but are not guided by the Holy Spirit. But it they were, made promises would be kept.

This school is an amazing, welcoming school and has great staff. Their teachers are well educated, know how to handle children correctly with both discipline, kindness and care. Not only does my daughter get an amazing education, she is learning great social skills, love of God and Jesus, and this country. I Love this school.

Staff and teachers here give 110% and help our kids learn academically, grow in grace and understand that they are loved and have significant purpose. Teachers & staff know each child by name and kids are not just a number here! Staff really do listen to any concerns parents may have. It's amazing what they accomplish in and for our kids...

We are proud to say we are apart of the ICS family. The best decision we made for our son is sending him to a school where he is safe to be himself. When I asked him why he loves his school he said "Because all of the kids are nice. I feel free to worship and praise the Lord without being judged. The teachers are great they don't over pressure me; they are always calm and patient. Mrs. Gilvin and Mrs. Story always like to have fun with us. I love my principle Mr. Cushing." These are just a few of the many reasons our son will attend ICS for many years to come!! We would recommend this school to any family looking for an extraordinary learning environment for their child.

My kids have been at Independence Christian School for almost six years. They started in the preschool program (at the ages of 18 months and three and a half years) and are both now at the elementary school. We love everything about ICS. The teachers are kind and caring and the curriculum is strong. It is a great learning environment and tuition is reasonable.ICS offers on campus before and after school care as well as summer camp, which is super convenient for working parents. There are opportunities for on campus piano, voice and dance lessons. We are looking forward to the sports program too, which starts for us this year (third grade).One of the things I love most about the school is the sense of community amongst the staff, students and families. There is a strong support network. The students are looked after not only by their assigned teacher, but by the entire staff. We discovered ICS almost by accident and we are so glad that we did. We look forward to many more years at ICS!

Independence Christian School is a great school. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a loving Christian environment where your children can learn from teachers that actually care about each and everyone one of them. I have had kids in this school for the last 10 years and i have about 5 more years to go. I wouldnt even consider putting my kids anywhere else. Thank you Mr Cushing and all the staff at Independence! God Bless You for what you do!
