“In a moment of genuine distress, after losing my ID and desperately needing funds sent by my father, I faced nothing but hurdles. Walmart and Ralph's turned me away, despite my ability to provide the security question and answer. The employee at Wal Mart was so rude n didn't even try to be helpful in any way. The Ralph's that the Western Union app Sent me to didn't even offer western union service anymore. Stressed out n spending the last of my money on Ubers to get to these locations, I was feeling defeated. That's when I stumbled upon this store and met its incredible owner. Not only did she provide the Western Union pick-up service, but she was also exceptionally understanding, so helpful, kind, and sweet. In a world that often lacks compassion, her heartfelt assistance was a beacon of hope. Her store was not just a lifeline in a tough situation but a testament to the power of genuine human connection and service. I'm beyond grateful.”

They have a great selection and give good reviews if you don’t know what you’re looking for. They are always super friendly and keep great hours. “This liquor is my to go to every worker over there gives great service and they are especially kind and funny there's a lot of good things in big a liquor although there is one problem they don't have really good security because I've seen many homeless people take beers so I think they should have better security for stuff like this cause it's very easy”
“I am a Stater Bros customer for at least 30 yrs or more I love this SB on State College I have always been treated very well and have never had a problem with any of the employees . If I ever needed help with anything I was kindly helped. The only thing I noticed is that the young baggers need to be trained on what items to bag together keep cold items together not with canned items and don't put too many heavy items in one bag it s too heavy for an older person to carry if someone comes in with cooling bags don't put cans or non cold items in it. They just need to be trained that's all. I love all the cashiers and deli,bakery,produce employees too,some I know by name,thank you Tina,Alicia,Anthony, Dave,just to name a few and I have to say that the current store manager is great!!

“Best liquor store in town! Recently under new management that has turned the joint upside down! Brand new coolers, brand new floors, and backdrop! they have a great selection of alcohol with a beer cave that keeps drinks ICE COLD! The workers are great at helping you get what you want or hit at what you're craving ~ super nice! In addition, have fresh baked goods from a nearby bakery that are heaven! New go-to spot!”

“This is my go-to store when I need multiple random things. No reason to go to the big box store EVERYtime I need something. I like that, it's convenient and usually in and out as fast as I get what I'm looking for. Usually any line moves fast. Good verity of alcoholic drinks, even wine. Don't forget to swing by the frozen food section, only because it's next to the ice-cream. Omg the ice-cream. You're going to find something you love, summer is here ! “My IMHO is that TWAM is usually cheaper and their rewards program seems to be better. With that said though, this location is super friendly and has great service. Selection is also great, and it serves us well, being much closer than other alternatives.”

“This is a convenient little liquor store that’s right next to a busy gas station. It is always a quick in, grab stuff and exit. The staff is always welcoming. The parking is a bit challenging when getting out since it’s right by the freeway exit so it’s a bummer that one can’t go through the gas station. There’s a fence dividing the two business which only leaves one entrance and exit.”
