I recently had the pleasure of being assisted by Jessie, an ice machine service worker from Norm's Refrigeration, and I must say, his performance was exceptional. Jessie went above and beyond to address my needs promptly and efficiently.From the moment he arrived, it was evident that Jessie possessed a deep understanding of his work. His technical proficiency and quick problem-solving skills were truly impressive. Not only did he complete the task at hand with remarkable speed, but he also took the time to explain the intricacies of the ice machine, ensuring that I was well-informed about its functionality.What stood out the most was Jessie's friendly demeanor. He approached his work with a genuine smile and a positive attitude, making the entire service experience not only professional but also enjoyable. It was clear that Jessie takes pride in his job, as reflected in the meticulous care he took to ensure the job was done right the first time.Norm's Refrigeration is fortunate to have such a dedicated and skilled individual on their team. Jessie's commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction is truly commendable. I would highly recommend Norm's Refrigeration and specifically commend Jessie for his outstanding service.

After having continued issues with not receiving contracted service for my leased machine, and after calling multiple times attempting to speak with a service supervisor, I have now been promised that my account will be serviced regularly per the lease contract. This is an updated review.

It is totally my fault that I Didn't check their reviews on yelp before I called them. There is reason why they have bad reviews. My freezer didn't work and temperature was going up, so I called this place. The technician came out and told me there is problem with fan and Needed to be replaced. He said he will order and comeback and install it. I didn't hear anything from them for three weeks. Every time I called their customer service, they kept saying they were still waiting for the part. The technician finally came out after a month I requested, and installed new fan and said everything works fine. Guess what. A day after, it didn't work again. The new fan was not working again. so I call them again. They sent out another technician on same day. He said now there is problem with control board and they need to order that again. I called their customer service right away and told them I just want to stop service from them. I called another place and the new technician told me that it was not a fan or control board issues. He said it was just the problem with little part that I don't even have to replace. He fixed it within 20 minutes and temperature went down immediately. I just got a bill from Norms today. They changed me $995 for nothing. I wasted money and time from choosing such a unprofessional place. They are either do not know anything about freezer or biggest scammers. I just can't believe I have to pay $995 to place who couldn't even fix the easy issue. DO NOT CALL THIS PLACE FOR ANY SERVICE. OTHERWISE YOU WILL LOSE MONEY FOR NOTHING.

Norms Refrigeration has a monopoly on the west coast warranty and sales for Ice o Matic and many other brands, my ice o Matic ice maker that I purchased for $7,000 dollars from them had a part go bad and they told us it would be 4-5 week wait time.. I called ice o Matic and they told me the reason there’s such a delay is because norms buys them in bulk as cash, so it’s processed as a regular order - if it was individually processed as a warranty order the manufacturer would prioritize the replacement parts because they keep stock separate for warranty replacements.. when I asked for this warranty service, the owner Tish said she would not do it because it would be unfair to her customers who have been waiting for weeks, but what she didn’t care to realize is the process they use to buy in bulk and process warranty later rather then processing each customers individual warranty items as a warranty claim is what’s causing these unnecessary delays, if you need parts and they tell you it’s a long wait call the manufacturer and complain (ask for tech support) and they will help you get the part shipped to another authorized repair company, so you don’t have to wait for their unnecessary delays because of the way they choose to buy in bulk in cash, and process warranty after the parts arrive - which results in norms customers not benefiting from the warranty stock ice o Matic keeps separately for warranty claimsThese guys are all about the money, just my humble opinion

Their technicians do not understand anything about refrigeration! They specialize in providing Complex Diagnostic and exorbitant cost to repair in order to entice you to replace your refrigerator.When their technician diagnosed our refrigerator as “Having a restriction” he advised to replace the “Compressor, The Evaporator and the Capillary Tube” for a cost of over $1,800.00. I have never seen this kind of diagnostic in over 30 years of technical experience!When I spoke with the manager, he justified the recommendations of his technician and accused me of not wanting to pay for services. When I told him that I was in the business, he asked me why I did not fix it myself!I was a refrigeration tech for over 30 years and retired 10 years ago; never heard of such a diagnostic. Their technicians gave similar diagnostic of 3 refrigerators.I called a local tech who came and in less than 2 hrs. and for about $350.00 evacuated the system, installed a new filter/dryer and recharged. The unit is working great after a month of operation.

Well the reviews pretty much summed up my experience, they installed an ice machine on top my existing ice storage bin after they assured me it was a prefect match and the installers installed it and took the check. Find out 4 months later it's not the right fit and a leaked from day one but hidden behind the machine so now we have a mold issue and structural damage to the wall. Dusty is the service manager and was the one who assured us the ice maker was a perfect fit . Now when confronted with the problem as reported by his own technicians that it is a bad fit and never should have been installed , he opens the conversation with a lie that the leak is on the bottom of the storage bin. A direct contradiction of what his techs told me yesterday. The rest of the conversation was a disservice to his title as customer service manager. He was passive aggressive and smug taking no responsibility for his tech installing the unit if it didn't fit, much less for his misrepresentation that the ice maker would be an exact fit perfect. He not only lacks knowledge of his field but he also lacks any concept of service. Oh, he offered a 10% discount on a new bin and no discount at all on labor and then hung up on me.

Overcharged for my last repair over $200 and is was a warranty repair that was supposed to be covered. Called three times and was supposed to receive a call back each time, never happened. I will not be using them again.
