Olive Hills Dog Park is a solid spot for dog owners looking for a well-sized, no-frills place. The park is divided into two separate fenced areas—one for small dogs under 25lbs and another for large dogs. Both parks are huge, decently sized, and very well kept, offering enough space for dogs to run, socialize, and play fetch. The ground is mostly dirt with patches of artificial turf, which helps keep things cleaner, though it can get dusty. The park provides great conveniences like dog and human water stations, doggy bags, and an abundance of tennis balls. There are benches scattered around and it is located near a tennis court up the hill. The area is tucked away in a nice, residential neighborhood surrounded by nature. Parking is free, plentiful, and located a short walk from the entrance. Fencing is secure with safe and working entrances, and visibility across the park is good. The park often has a laid-back, neighborhood vibe and is not overly crowded. Most visitors are responsible and friendly, with no bad experiences reported with other pets or pet parents. It is a safe, recommended park where dogs can run free and socialize.
Very friendly patrons and well behaved dogs. Enough places to sit but don’t be afraid of the sun. Dog water fountain provides COLD water. Plenty of parking. Will be back.
