Prices are ridiculous here even though nationwide costs are going down, they seem to be going up. Perhaps it's the area - very limited on store out here in Anaheim Hills - they might be charging more for that reason? Few people here not friendly, most of the staff is nice.

This store is severely understaffed. Whenever I shop here, I use the self-checkout, which is fine because there are usually only one or two cashiers working. Yesterday, however, I needed a money order, which requires assistance from a staff member. I waited for about 10 minutes before someone—probably the manager—arrived. She was polite and tried to assist me, but I discovered that I needed to pay with cash, as they don’t accept debit cards for money orders, unlike Walmart.
I went to the ATM to get cash, which took just three minutes. When I returned, the manager was gone! I understand the store was busy, and they are clearly understaffed, and I appreciate the importance of being accommodating. However, I ended up waiting for nearly half an hour. Despite seeing me waiting, she didn’t come back to the counter to help. Instead, she asked another cashier to assist me, but when she noticed me, she turned her back. I couldn’t help but wonder—was this simply because they were overwhelmed, or was it something else?
In the end, I left the store without getting the money order because no one was willing to help. My question is: given the situation and the store’s busyness, wasn’t I still a customer in need of help, just like those waiting in line for checkout? If people who need services beyond groceries aren’t considered “customers” and don’t receive the same level of care, why advertise that those services are available?

I had a very disturbing experience on memorial day at this location. One of the managers on duty named “Mary” made an extremely racist remark about a customer going as far as mocking his accent. Saying “I know what i can take for identity i’m not stupido” I was way too disgusted to keep on shopping this was incredibly disappointing.

See those onions? That's been a common aspect almost every single week I make a trip here this entire year. The sheer fact that I can't somehow complain to regional for the outrageous prices across the store AND THE GALL to not have a stricter produce culling program is a disgrace. You, dear shopper, will ALWAYS have the choice, the right, and the good nature to decide where to spend your money and how. They are severely understaffed and no amount of "look at the variety we have" sort of marketing will deflect the fact that Kroger allows this absolute health hazard happen on a consistent basis (Vons ain't better either) and they continue to even remotely ASK you to pay for disgustingly high prices for YOUR commodities. It's absurd to think I can get half of my groceries for cheaper going to a store that ISN'T well known for groceries. I'll give you a hint, it starts with a "T".
The staff are kind, the place itself is clean, I can't really knock on the butcher or Starbucks staff. But the ginger is often rotted, onions and potatoes are attracting flies, and I remember when the reformat/expansion of products happened there was a 4 month expired jug of juice sitting on the shelf.
How magnanimous is it that I can go get Liquid Death, some wine gums, and bottle after bottle of restaurant brand condiments here yet we SOMEHOW can't nail the "fresh fare" nomenclature because our HARDIEST vegetables becoming a virtual apartment complex for bacteria and bugs?!
When it comes to Google rants, I'll wave off a bad service at a restaurant. I'll wave off a mistake I made with a business I wasn't fully emotionally committed on. But this is our groceries and in this financial world, I strongly think consumers need to be much more wary about a blatant neglect of the fact that WE pay through purchase and stock to keep Kroger afloat.
If it means I need to drive down the street or hop on the freeway for better prices, better produce, and a better business, I absolutely can and I absolutely will.

I absolutely LOVE this Ralph's. It's a large-format store with a large selection of fresh produce and other staples. Their staff is consistently helpful and go out of their way to provide exceptional service. I wish more Ralph's locations were on par with this Fresh Fare.

Large grocery chain store located in a plaza off Weir Canyon Rd.
They have a nice variety and quality of fresh produce, meats, dry goods, and household items. Their bakery selection is pretty good! We generally go to Vons down the street, but this Ralphs is definitely better.
Also love that they have self-checkout.

Manager On Duty: Denise Upon arrival I wanted to speak with a manager and she was quite rude by asking if I needed something and if I could make it quick or if it was something simple. Another customer was already receiving assistance, so I was okay with waiting. I decided to wait and she simply left and I didn't get a word in with her. Once checking out I was observing the employee that does bagging take a pause to put some TShirt bags into the bagging sections. Whilst breaking down the boxes he punched them so hard I thought he was having some sort of episode and I looked at the same manager who was not even 2 feet away and she was just having a carefree conversation as her line was still waiting for her to resume checkouts. I understand most people hired here may be younger, but as a leader you really should teach your staff to be less aggressive and as a leader put good attitude as an example Careless Employee: Kyle

Last night, I stopped by the Starbucks in Ralph's to purchase two gift cards. The lady that was working had black glasses on and short hair. I've encountered her working in the grocery store part and she is super rude but last night took the cake. When I approached the counter, she had her back to me, and was washing some thing and didn't acknowledge my presence at all for about several minutes, which is totally fine. I'm not even upset about that. However, when she came to the register she asked what I wanted. I said to gift cards. I gave her two cards to scan some money on it and she said are you paying with a credit card and I said no I'm using my Starbucks app. (I didn't know that I couldn't buy gift cards with my Starbucks app) Anyways when I said I have my app, she said you can't use that. I said Ok, well sorry then I will have to come back. Her attitude next was the cake topper. She was so rude, huffing and puffing like it was my fault. I wanted to say something but just walked away and told her to have a nice day. If you don't like your job or don't like people making a simple mistake, maybe you should find something new. You don't need to be a bitch.

Mary Mary Mary but is she is really Merry? No she is most definitely not. She is not cheerful she is not joyful she is miserable and you can see it in her face as she has frowned and hissed for her entire miserable life. Every time I come in here I am always polite and happy but when I come across Mary the old witch of the front lanes I become fearful and disheartened. Oh lord why hath you not placed this old hag in her dungeon, locked her up and thrown away the key? Her smile is nothing but evil as she forces her lips to move upward for a smile but ends up as a sinister grin, "Hello Dear, what do you want!" as she hisses and spits vile venom at your face. Other than that I like the quality of the food and ambience. 1 star for the service 2 stars because the sushi is amazing as always!!!

I used to love coming here for the convenience of the pickup order especially with a baby and a toddler. The pickup orders were always quick, easy, and accurate. For the past few weeks it has been very bad. I’ve been missing many items, sometimes even more than half my order. What’s going on?!
