About WonderCon
WonderCon is a popular annual convention that has become a favorite among casual and dedicated nerdy fans alike. Located in Anaheim, California, the convention offers a more accessible and manageable experience compared to its larger counterpart, San Diego Comic-Con. The convention space is praised for its great size, providing ample room for attendees to move around without feeling overwhelmed by crowds. The cosplay scene is a highlight, with creative and well-executed costumes of various characters, from DC to Marvel to Star Wars and beyond. Fans can gather and connect with others who share their fandoms. While the convention may not have the star power of SDCC, it focuses on providing a diverse range of panels and discussions, catering to a wide range of interests, from up-and-coming shows to comic book creators, voice actors, and niche topics like Disneybounding and being an adult cosplayer. The artist alley and vendor booths offer a wide selection of merchandise, with a focus on local and independent artists and businesses. The food options outside the convention, including food trucks, provide convenient dining options for attendees. Overall, WonderCon is praised for its friendly atmosphere, reasonable ticket prices, and the ability to experience the excitement of a large-scale convention without the overwhelming crowds. It has become a go-to event for many fans in the Orange County and surrounding areas, providing a memorable and accessible nerdy experience.
The years I attended WonderCon were so much fun. It became my new home after I stopped going SDCC. Great convention space. So many awesome folks. A super friendly place. And with Disneyland right across the road, it was just an added bonus. Oh, and the food trucks outside. I need to return.

Second time to WonderCon with my daughter. Thoroughly enjoyed both years! WonderCon is similar to LA's ComicCon, just smaller. In contrast, I personally would not recommend Long Beach's ComicCon. I found it quite disappointing and definitely overly priced.

WonderCon is a lot of fun in Anaheim. Not as busy/crowed as our Comic-Con (in San Diego), but still, WonderCon delivers.. a great time!
