this is possibly the worst internet service provider to exist.very overpriced, slow internet. i wouldn’t suggest giving them your money unless you like the feeling of using dial-up without the dialing sound and want to pay for a useless landline phone that’s main purpose is to sit and collect dust.the people in third world countries have had better internet than this for YEARS. (simply look up the average internet speed in Africa.)7-8 years ago, it was slow but usable, but with the evolution of the internet it is essentially impossible to use now, especially with multiple people connected.. that is not surprising considering all of us are connected to the same congested old phone lines that were originally only meant for calling on said landline phones.we have been paying the same price for our internet for nearly a decade now, yet we are getting much less out of it now than we did back then.overall, if i had any other option i would avoid this ISP at all costs.like everyone else says, if i could rate this zero stars i would.

If we could give them 0 stars, we would!! Their system is horrible, and they are Uber expensive for such subpar service. We have setup auto pay many times, but it never works, and they tack on late fees that they refuse to remove despite the issue being on their end in the system. We are done!!

I would give this place negative stars if I could. Absolute worst company ever. They never turned on my internet so I asked them to just send me a box to return the modem they sent without a power cord and charged me $60. Now they sent me to collections for the $60 for them wasting my time. DO NOT USE THIS WORTHLESS COMPANY! They are absolutely disrespectful on the phone if you can even manage getting through to someone and then when you do they don't even speak English. I should sue them for all the emotional distress they put me through.

Zero stars if I could. Their main customer service is poor and incompetent. Always has been.For years their internet was very slow with dead end promises that they would be improving speed. We were stuck with them until Starlink came along.Upon requesting them to disconnect our internet only they also disconnected our phone. Calling in and being on hold/transferred for an hour I finally got a ticket to connect the phone back.Two days later they reconnected our phone but then calling others started showing private on caller ID.They said they fixed this problem and closed that ticket but it wasn't fixed.Called again and had to explain to customer service multiple times what the problem is...it took 5+ times of saying I want people to see it is us calling them before she claimed to understand.TDS is horrible!

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. This company is a scam. They cancelled our services without our approval then proceeded to try to get us to pay more to get our services back and when I asked for my payment from the month that they cancelled my service to get credited to my account, they told me that I would actually owe an amount when I NEVER RECEIVED SERVICES. When you speak to their representatives, they have no knowledge on what they are speaking about & when they get frustrated, they hang up. I don’t know how this company is still in business but this is by the far the worst company that I’ve received services through. If you think that they are your only option in the area, you have more options than you think! Leave this company & save your money. Get ready for a lawsuit TDS, because if I don’t do it, trust that someone will.

I’ve been with TDS over 15 years now and I live approximately 10 miles west of Anderson CA. There are no other options for internet service. Have never really had the speed paid for, constantly have outages, can’t have internet without paying for a home phone line as well which is $35/mo, no technical support if you have your own modem and charge now charge $10 monthly to rent their modem. Paid $5/ month for their modem for 9 years before buying my own modem/router. For 2 1/2 months couldn’t even stream a movie so reported to FTC and during that time they discovered so many were having issues so they had to expand somehow. Were paying 18Mbps and were getting 2 to 4Mbps. If you have any other options go for that provider!

If I could give this internet service a zero I would! It's SO NOT worth the amount we have to pay every month. Half the time it's not even working and when it does work it's incredibly slow and spotty. Unfortunately, TDS is the only available option out here. Otherwise we would definitely be going somewhere else. Please do something to fix this!!!!!!!

Been a customer for two years now and the service is far from reliable. The connection is weak. we can't stream anything. And at least once or twice a week it goes completely down for hours at a time. How do they expect people to work or children to do school online when they can't even keep their customers connected. This outage is currently is going on 12 hours. It's ridiculous.

Worth little for years, with the absolute weakest internet signal it is possible to measure, internet service from TDS is just state sanctioned robbery. Besides the aggravation of intermittent downloads and upload speeds like 0.03 which mean emails won't show more than a message from someone waiting ( no subject, no nothing more) you can count on never, ever, get a supervisor on the line OR an answer to your work order. An UPGRADE of systems has been PROMISED SIX (06) YEARS NOW. If you have ANY OTHER OPTIONS for internet service, do yourself a giant favor and take it. For $50 a month, I think a MUGGING might be a refreshing change of pace.

inconsistant. slow. non existent at times. we pay for upgraded service and have never hit the standard internet speeds. we pay our bill every month, but they dont do their part.
