Looked for an item and didn’t see it, A associate happened to be stocking so I asked her if they had the item I was looking for. Her response was, If you don’t see it hanging there then we must not have it. Today was my final transaction with any Tractor Supply store across the United States. One of your associates said that it was only one person that was like that. Apparently they never heard the old adage that one bad apple ruins the barrel. I believe that is quite appropriate in this situation. And yes I already called Customer Service and reported the incident and closed my neighbor’s club card off. Refuse to support any merchant who does business with the same outlook on business. Best wishes, your former customer of twenty years

Earlier today I placed an online order I received and email confirmation that my order was received on their end and the payment had gone through when I checked online, it was for a couple things so I thought no big deal. Later my dad went to pick up the order since I had put it under his name I assumed it should be fine. Was I surprised when I got a call from him saying they didn’t have the order and more surprisingly they couldn’t find it on their end. After he put me on the phone and I confirmed the order number etc. which he had also done previous to calling me. I was met by a very rude attitude from a manager Ashley to be specific. She was un polite and basically told me all I could do was go through customer service since she had a lot of people waiting in line. She was unable to tell me how long it would take for me to get my online order refunded so I could place a new one, since my dad needed the rope and would rather not wait too long. I just wanted a solution. The whole time she was on the phone she was practically yelling at me, she unable to solve a simple issue to the point she ended up hanging up on me on my dads phone. I had to call him back and eventually he had to buy two sets of the rope I had originally purchased four of online, which a cashier mentioned that might have been the issue with my order. Not sure who hired Ashley as the manager but that decision has to be heavily reevaluated, for the complete lack of customer skills and unwillingness to help and resolve problems.

Usually a good experience. Until today, I had a simple question about high tensile fencing wire. Only one associate on the floor that I could see and he was busy talking about dogs with another customer, I get customer service and everything but when a customer has an actual question about an actual product in your store at least acknowledge them. No you slowly meander to the register while talking to said customer the whole time about dogs they’re breeding. Then proceed to think it was busy enough to help them at a closed register while there was only a single person in the other line and still completely just ignore me. We’ve spent thousands of dollars here and won’t spend a penny more. Don’t bother telling me to call back because you’d like to figure it out. I’ve figured it out already taking money elsewhere where.

Simply went in to buy 1 item and the cashier Dawn was very rude and proceeded to tell me that I couldn’t use my swipe cuz my chip wouldn’t work even tho that literally what the card reader said, she proceeded to reset the whole thing instead of letting me swipe and when the chip wouldn’t work again she told me ma'am I get it works over there but that’s not how are stuff works so you have to use to chip until my husband chipped in and the other cashier said that is how that works and let me swipe finally and magically it so happend to accept. She proceeded to snatch my receipt off of the printer and kinda just through it in my hand.
I’m not sure why your having such a bad day dawn but I hope it gets better for you. But I still hope both sides of your pillow are warm and your socks are always mismatched🙂

Edit: I contacted the manager of the store, a very nice lady, and she comped 2 chicks for me. The chicks are doing very well and its been weeks now. I have updated my review from 1 star to 4 stars.
I bought 3 chicks from here. 2 died. Tsc has a 24 hr policy on birds. I had the chicks a few days, so they had nothing to offer for my money wasted. Aside from a waste of $12 dollars, it was a waste of time and energy since I tended to them trying to keep them alive only to take an emotional hit. I will think twice about buying birds from tsc. Buy from somewhere locally owned instead of a chain store.
The staff was nice and helpful. That's the only positive.

Very rude lady, I asked if they on line price match, she said yes then asked me what I saw the item for. I told her and she questioned it like I made it up. Said they WERE on sale but not now. I saw the online price just before I got there. Pull out my phone to show her and since the internet in Anderson sucks I couldn’t get it to pull up. I also work in retail and price match ALL the time. If a customer asks for an online price match I look it up myself.
