Sent a package to my brother of photos from our deceased mother whom just died recently the sent it from where I live to San Francisco, to Sacramento , Fresno and to Redding but on the eve of the same day it arrived in Redding for delivery they sent it back to Fresno, San Francisco , Sacramento and back to Redding again. They say they put it in my brother's mailbox in Anderson but he never received it. My brother says last time this went on post man was throwing away the mail I am really upset these things are irreplaceable but I guess they don't care.

Whenever I go in, I get helpful and friendly service. Rarely do I get that any other location in the area. The counter employees are great, and have saved me a few bucks over the past couple years with their knowledge and suggestions. I appreciate them.

Found packages left in driveway at different times. The bad thing is when the dogs go out they've carried them off so I have to walk the property to find them in hopes they're not tore up. Not Happy in Happy Valley.

I live in Redding, but if I have packages to ship, this is where I go. Super nice clerks who work at a good pace. Compared to other local locations, they are speed demons. The post master, Michelle, knows her stuff and is always helpful. Wish they were open Saturday, but I am not going to ding them for that.

On Feb 22 We paid $58 to have a tracked, signature required, business size envelope delivered to Anderson,CA and the letter carrier decided she didn't want to get a signature, one even leave a courtesy notice of the letters arrival. She decided to just return the important letter to the sender. As of March 4 the important document still has not made its way back to the East Coast. This has caused serious hardship to myself and others. When questioning Anderson postmaster Michelle about the ethics of my letter carrier, Michelle said she will investigate and call me back. 24hrs later and still no return call. I called again and Michelle gave me the convenient excuse of "the carrier doesn't remember."

These chicks arrived at the post office yesterday afternoon and I was not called (despite my cell phone number being plastered on the box) until nearly 20 minutes after the post office closed and no one left a message indicating whether or not I could pickup after hours. I was called again this morning at 6:45 by an employee who again did not leave a voicemail but who texted me to let me know my chicks had arrived (again, not indicating that there was a possibility of picking them up outside of posted hours). 12 of the 20 birds were dead on receipt, 6 more dying within 30 minutes of getting them home and warmed up, and the final 2 succumbed after fighting for hours to survive. The entire blame doesn’t rely solely on the post office (I never received tracking info from the hatchery) but the complete disregard for the 20 lives that were shoved aside until it was too late to retrieve are very much the responsibility of this establishment. Thankfully the hatchery is working hard to make amends and I would hope that the United States Postal Service would adopt a higher regard for all life and establish a better receipt and notification process for the shipment of live animals.

0 stars if possible. At least 3 days a week we receive the wrong addressed mail in our box. And we get packages delivered in the lock box but the key is placed in someone else's box. Or it's delivered but nowhere to be found. We've had our kids school pics completely folded in half and shoved into our box when the envelope had big bold red letters "DO NOT BEND". We've also had our carrier toss packages from 8 to 10ft away onto our porch(watched it happen on nest cameras). Worst carriers ever!!!!!!

Good as a Post Office can get. It's very small but the clerks are friendly and helpful. If only it had counter service on Saturdays and much better parking, I'd give it 5 stars.

It's the post office. It always sucks. They know it, and so does everyone else. People wouldn't go POSTAL if that place didn't drive them crazy. Lol!

I have been trying to change my address since May of this year and I have had nothing but issues doing so. I was told to go into the Anderson Post Office and verify my identity, so I did and the clerk told me everything was good to go and my identification had been verified. He said I would receive an email from USPS and all I needed to do was click the link inside the email and my change of address would finally be processed. Two days later I received an email from USPS and it said my identification verification had failed. How could it have failed? I brought MY drivers license card into Anderson Post Office and was told that my identification had been verified so I guess I was lied to by the male clerk that I spoke with. It certainly doesn't make me want to trust them my mail.
